3 ITINERARY - DAY 1 ARRIVAL in SAN MARTIN DOS ANDES (SMA) After a 2-hour flight from the Buenos Aires Airport to the Chapelco San Martin de los Andes Airport, you will be greeted and transferred (20km) to the accommodation in the city center. San Martin de los Andes is a very nice, small and quiet town. Once at the lodging we will talk about the program that starts the next day, take a look at the maps and give information regarding clothes, weather, meals and other important topics for this adventure. 4 ITINERARY - DAY 2 BTT: Single Tracks in SMA The entire area surrounding the city of San Martin is part of the Lanín National Park and the lands of the Mapuche community, which are the people that inhabit this territory since before the arrival of the Europeans. The forests and their trails have free access and both in this and the next day we will enjoy incredible places without contact with other people. The challenges here will be the great climbs, which will be rewarded with endless descents through the native forest. BIKE 45km, m HIKE: Ascent of CERRO FALKNER The program for this first day starts at 8:30 with a transfer (1h) along HIKE 5-6hrs, m the famous 7 Lakes Route to the base of the hill. During the first two hours we will walk in a forest of Lengas with dense areas of Chilean Bamboo which the trails crosses comfortably. Upon arriving at the top of the Cerro, the route rises above the vegetation, favoring views initially to the north and then to the four cardinal points. The summit of this hill offers an extraordinary 360º view of the mountains of the region, Cerro Tronador to the south and the Lanin Volcano to the north, among others. 5 ITINERARY - DAY 3 BTT: Single Tracks in SMA Another day of forest trails awaits us. The mountains that surround San Martin de los Andes have an abundance of trails that one could spend days travelling them without repeating any. We will have new challenges, new descents, new places and experiences on this fantastic day! BIKE 52km, m HIKE: Ascent of CERRO MALLO Cerro Mallo is located in the Lanín National Park, approximately 40km northwest of San Martin de los Andes, on the north bank of the Lacar and Nonthué lakes, where the access road to the Cerro is located. HIKE 5-6hrs, m At 8:30 we will depart by car from the accommodation on a journey of 1h30 until the beginning of the track. Along the way we will find areas of high vegetation with very dense understory in some places. Once at a higher altitude we will come upon a different geography, with large snow slabs and rocks. At the summit, with wonderful views, we will have a well-deserved rest with lunch included. With recharged energies we will return to the beginning of the route along the same path, which will take us about 3 hours. ACCOMMODATION La Casa de Eugenia Hosteria

6 ITINERARY - DAY 4 BTT: ANDES Crossing Today we will have a long day, with the first crossing of the Andes. To do this we will use the Carirriñe mountain pass after passing by four great lakes and incredible forests. Once on Chilean soil we will ride along a great bajada of more than 25km until the city of Liquiñe, where the roads start becoming paved. BIKE 120km, m HIKE: ACHEN ÑIYEU Volcano HIKE 5-6hrs, m A 2h long car transfer will take you to Laguna Verde, from where the walk begins by hiking along the lagoon to the beginning of the trail in the southwest margin. The path, with slight ascents, crosses an enormous forest of Raulíes and Coihues, gaining altitude between the slope and a solidified lava river. While leaving the forest we will find a wide valley of black sand, an atypical landscape in this green environment. Rock formations and slopes of infinite colors will lead us to the base of the volcano, where we will make the most important climb of the day until we reach the crater, our resting point highlighted by an infinite view. On the return we will descend a surprising sand slope that will take us to the base of the volcano. We will finally arrive at Laguna Verde from where the vehicle will take us to the other side of the border to our lodging in Chile. 7 ITINERARY - DAY 5 BTT: TRANSVULCANIC ROUTE On this grandiose day we will pass between the Villarrica and Quetrupillan volcanoes on an incredible path. In the highest part of the mountain pass we will cross forests of Araucarias (an endemic tree of this area) of enormous beauty. Already at the end of the mountain pass we will have another great descent through forests and green fields. At the end of the day we will visit the picturesque town of Pucón at the base of the volcano, an excellent opportunity to experience the gastronomy of the Pacific. BIKE 81km, m HIKE: Rest Day After a few days of effort you will have the possibility to rest for a day. A transfer will take you to the next accommodation in Pucón. 8 ITINERARY - DAY 6 ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES On this day we have a program for every taste: VILLARICA VULCANO Hike to the top of the Villarrica Volcano (2,847 meters) with its open crater, where you might have the possibility to see the magma. A 5h walk to the top, and 2h30 to return. RAFTING Descend the dizzying Trancura River in an incredible 4+ level rafting. MTBike: For those who don t want to stop pedaling, the circuit (35km, m) on the trails of the Villarica Volcano is a classic of this area. ACCOMMODATION Aldea Naukana Posada

9 ITINERARY - DAY 7 BTT: ANDES Crossing We will leave from Pucón towards East and soon get off the main road to circulate on the beautiful and silent secondary paths. To our right we will constantly have the silhouette of the Villarrica Volcano and at a certain point we will see the silhouettes of the volcanoes Villarrica, Quetrupillan and our destination, the Lanin Volcano, simultaneously. Slowly we will ascend to the mountain pass of Mamuhil Malal and once on Argentine soil at the base of the volcano, we can toast to this extraordinary experience. Transfer from here to San Martin de los Andes BIKE 100km, m HIKE: Refuges of the LANIN VOLCANO We will leave by car from Pucón towards the border with Argentina, HIKE 6-7hrs, m which after 1:30 we will cross. Soon after entering the country, we will arrive at the starting point of the hike. The ascent to the refuge area will take 4 to 5 hours by passing moraines formed by glaciers, volcanic rocks, and depending on the time of year, some areas with snow. The views become more and more spectacular as we ascend in altitude. Upon arriving at the refuges we will choose the place to have lunch. Then we will have another ascent of 2h30 until the base of the refuges where we will have the vehicle waiting for us to take us back to San Martin de los Andes.
