4 Financial Highlights for the First Half of Fiscal Year Ending March 2017 Results fell short of the initial forecasts owing to several factors, such as lower-than-anticipated of the curative drugs for hepatitis C and delayed responses to the revised dispensing fees. Full-year earnings forecasts have been revised downward because market conditions will remain tough. Meanwhile,, operating income, ordinary income and income* all increased on a year-onyear basis. * Profit attributable to owners of parent has been omitted. 4
