1 TOUR SCHEDULE Day 1: Arrive in Delhi from CDG. Flight comes in at 10am. Airport immigration and luggage pick-up: minutes. The group will be received by the Tour Manager at around 11am at Gate 5/6 at the international terminal. We will reach hotel in Delhi at around 12pm (depending on traffic conditions). Hotel in Delhi: Hotel Vivanta by Taj - Ambassador, or similar Transfer from the airport to the hotel by luxury coach. The coach will arrive at the hotel around 12:00 approximately according to the arrival time of the flight and the traffic conditions in Delhi. Lunch at 1pm at the hotel Bus to leave with the group for Delhi tour at 2pm. Tour to start at 2pm. Bus will leave for Qutub Minar at 2pm Distance from Hotel to QM: 5 kilometers Travel time: minutes due to city traffic Qutub Minar: at 73 metres, is world's tallest rubble masonry minaret. Qutb Minar, along with the ancient and medieval monuments surrounding it, form the Qutb complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site Tour time: 2:30pm 4:30pm The bus will be ready to leave for Janpath at 4:30pm Distance of Janpath from QM: 13 kilometers Travel time: minutes depending on city traffic Janpath for shopping around 5pm This is a walking tour. The bus will drop the group on the main market road. Tour time: 5pm 7pm Dinner: Barbeque Nation or similar (Connaught Place) Time: 7pm to 8:30pm Distance of hotel from the restaurant: 12 kilometers Travel time: 30 minutes, Back to the hotel by 9pm depending on traffic. Lunch: Haldirams or similar (Vegeterian restaurant) Time: 12pm 1pm Distance of restaurant from Red Fort: 5 kilometers Travel time: 20 minutes Lunch time: 12:30pm 1:30pm Bus will be ready to leave for Old Delhi at 1:30pm Distance from restaurant to Old Delhi: 5 kilometers Travel time: 20 minutes Bus will reach Old Delhi at 2pm Tour starts at 2 pm. This is a walking tour as the streets of Old Delhi are narrow and historical. They are around 500 years old. The charm of Old Delhi is the walk in these streets. All three places below are interconnected at a distance of 650 meters and 8-10 minutes by walk. Old Delhi (2pm 6pm) - Jama Masgid 2

3 - Gurudwara - Chandni Chowk Dinner : Lakhori or similar Time: 6pm 7pm Departure to Old Delhi Railway Station The cbus will be ready to leave for the station at 19:00. Distance between Old Delhi and the station: 2 miles Travel time: 20 to 25 minutes, as the road is often crowded. The group will leave by bus or tuktuks to the station will be organized. Departure of the train / Flight: 21h00. Flight / Night train from New Delhi to Jodhpur: Snacks and bottles of water will be distributed free of charge to the group to deal with possible train delays in Jodhpur. Mandore Express: The train will leave Delhi station at 21:15 and arrive at Jodhpur at 7:50. 3

4 Day 3: Transfer from the station to the hotel: Coach transfers will be arranged from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is an hour's drive away. Check-in by the group before 8.30 am, and breakfast at the hotel. They will leave the hotel at 10:00. Check-in at the hotel and breakfast (9 am-10am). Fort Chanwa Hotel, or similar Meeting time for the group visit: am Tourist Activities in Jodhpur: Old School Tour and Jeep Tour (10:00 am to 12:00 pm) Return to the hotel before 12:00. The bus will leave at 12:00 for lunch at the restaurant OTA or similar to Jodhpur Distance between hotel and OTA: 40 km Travel time: about 1 hour. The bus will stop at Sojati Gate Circle, as the narrow streets of the town of Jodhpur are too narrow. The narrow streets, about 400 years old, are small and very old. The bus will wait at Sojati Gate and the group will walk or take tuk tuks to go to the restaurant. Distance between Sojati Gate Circle and OTA: 1.4 km. Lunch: from 1 pm to 1:45 pm Back to the cbus in Sojati Gate Circle by tuk tuk. The bus will leave for Mehrangarh fort at 14:00. Distance between Sojati Gate Circle and Mehrangarh Fort: 3 miles Travel time: minutes The bus will arrive at the entrance of Mehrangarh Fort at 14:30. Fort Mehrangarh: Mehrangarh Fort, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is located 410 feet (125 m) above the city and is surrounded by imposing thick walls. Duration of the visit: 14h30-16h30. The coach will leave for Clock Tower Road at 4:30 pm Distance between Fort and Clock Tower Road: 3 km 4

5 Travel time: about 20 minutes (due to traffic). The cbus will stop in the main street. The group will have to walk to the Clock Tower market about 400 meters from the main street. The streets are narrow and the market is crowded which prevents the bus from entering the market. Clock Tower Market: Walking and shopping Time of the visit: from 17h to 18h30. The group will take the direction of the bus that will wait 400 meters from the market. Departure at 18:45 for dinner. Dinner: from 7 pm Restaurant on the Pal roof, or similar Lunch time: 7 pm - 8:30 pm The bus will leave for the hotel at 20:30. 6 Day 4: Fort Chanwa to The Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh Distance: 165 kilometers Time: 4 hours approximately Check-out from the hotel at 7am Bus leaves Fort Chanwa at 8am. Lunch by 12pm at La Pizzeria or similar Lunch: 12pm to 1pm Visit to Jain temples on the way to Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh : 1pm to 4:30pm (temples close at 4:30pm for visitors). Bus will leave for the hotel The Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh at 4:30pm. Distance: 40 kilometers Time: 1 hour as it is a scenic drive Arrive at the hotel at 5:30pm. Check-in at the hotel. 7 Day 5: Early morning breakfast and check-out: 8:30am Bus ready to leave: 8:45am The hotel to Kumbhalgarh fort: Distance : 2 kilometers Time: minutes by bus Bus will go upto the entrance of the fort only. Kumbhalgarh fort: Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand district near Udaipur of Rajasthan state in western India. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Leave Kumbhalgarh fort by 12pm. Lunch: Packed lunch on the way to Udaipur. Kumbhalgarh Fort to Udaipur: Distance: 101 kilometers Time: 3 hours approximately Reach the hotel by 4pm. Transportation to the hotel: The bus will stop at Amba Mata temple which is 700 meters from the hotel. The bus will not be able the streets upto the hotel. All the streets in the Udaipur old city are 500 years old and smaller in width. The streets have been for a long time and the city got developed around it. But the charm of the older streets and the lake is breathtaking and the hotel is beautifully located just 700 meters from the lakeside. The bus will stay at Amba Mata temple which is 850 meters from the hotel. The luggage will be transported to the hotel in smaller jeeps or tuktuks. The people will be transported to the hotel also by jeeps or tuktuks. Hotel: Udai Kothi or similar Check-in at the hotel by 4pm or directly by the lake (for sunset). 8 Day 6 Udaipur Breakfast at the hotel Leave the hotel for sightseeing at 8:30am. We will have to either walk upto the bus which will be waiting at Amba Mata temple which is 850 meters or take tuktuks upto the bus. 9am to 12pm: Tour of City Palace/Jagdish Temple both are nearby and at a walking distance of 2 minutes. 12pm the bus will leave for lunch Lunch at Jhumar Lake-view restaurant or similar: 12:30 1:30pm The bus will leave for sightseeing after lunch at 1:30pm. 1:30pm 4:30pm: Walk to the old city and bazaar. 4:30pm 5:30pm Boat trip of 45 minutes on Lake Pichola Dinner 6pm onwards The boat will drop-off the group right at the restaurant where the group will be having dinner. Dinner restaurant with best views of Udaipur city. Best rated restaurant in Udaipur. Ambrai Restaurant or similar: Night at the hotel. 8

9 Day 7 Udaipur to Bijaipur Distance : 160 kilometers Time of travel: hours Early breakfast and check-out from hotel at 8am Bus will leave for Bijaipur at 8am. Check-in at the hotel around 11:30 12pm: Lunch at the hotel Hotel: Castle Bijaipur or similar Located in the Vindhyanchal Hills at 600 meters above sea level, surrounded by graceful forests of Flame of the Forest & Jaracanda overlooking the farmlands in the valley, Castle Bijaipur is the ultimate place where history, nature and hospitality form unison. The 16th century Castle, situated in fortified walls, was converted to a hotel in 1991 by the ruling family. This is an external activity (group has to buy this excursion from us): Jeep Safari Pre-dinner drinks are served on the lawn or in the old courtyard. Count the stars as the come to join you one by one, twinkling in a sky unpolluted by city lights. Traditional Indian music and dancing fills the garden. The intoxicating scent of Queen of the Night flowers is soon replaced by the alluring aroma of supper being served. Horse Ride When you sit onto the back of a horse, both you and the horse disappear and in its stead is a magical creature whose feet have mind of their own, leaving the head free to soak up all the world has to offer. The beautiful Marwari horses at Bijaipur Castle show the countryside through unique curved ears. These gentle and spirited horses are suitable for beginners and experienced riders. Excursion time: 1pm 4pm. Come back to the hotel and relax. Dinner : 6pm onwards: Cultural Evenings (pre-dinner): Pre-dinner drinks are served on the lawn or in the old courtyard. 10 Day 8: Bijaipur to Bundi Breakfast: 7am Check-out: 8am Bus leaves at 8am. Distance: 190 kilometers Travel time by bus: hours approximately Stopovers: Menal, Rajasthan for Shiva Temple visit Distance from Castle Bijaipur: 80 kilometers Travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes Time of visit: 9am 10am Shiva temple: This temple was built by the king then, Someshvar Chhahamana and his queen Suhavadevi of the Sakhambari dynasty during the 11th century A.D. The huge Shiva temple of stone is built in the ancient Hindu style with a carved pagoda and pillars. Leave for Bijoilia at 10am. Distance from Menal to Bijolia temple: 22 kilometers Travel time: 30 minutes Time of visit: 10:30am 11:30am Stopover in Bijolia: Shri Digambar Jain Parshwanath Atishay Kshetra, Bijoliya: This place has world biggest Stone Inscriptions providing proof of this place to be more than 2750 years old. Bus will leave for Bundi at 11:30am. Lunch: Packed lunch will be served inside the bus. Bijolia to Bundi: Distance: 90 kilometers Travel time by bus: hours approximately Bus will reach Bundi at around 1:30pm. 10

11 Bus will go until the lakeside in Bundi which is only 250 meters from the hotel. The bus cannot go upto the hotel as Bundi is a very old heritage city and the lanes are 400 years old and very small. So the bus will have to be parked at the lakeside only. The luggage will be transported to the hotel. The group will have to walk from the lakeside to the hotel for a distance of 250 meters only. Check-in at the hotel: 1:30pm Hotel: Haveli Braj Bhushanjee or similar. The Haveli Braj Bhushanjee was built 200 years before and belongs to Bohara Braj Bhushanjee family, which gave Bundi as many as four Prime Ministers all in the 19th Century. This Haveli is situated on the road to the palace and its location make it very convenient for the tourist to visit other places in the city and enjoy the traditional way of life and culture of this small but very beautiful city. Haveli Braj Bhushanjee offers excellent view of Bundi Palace, Fort and Town especially at night when the palace is illuminated. This hotel is a vegetarian-oriented hotel and no alcohol is sold or permitted on the premises of this hotel. You can carry alcohol and have it inside your room in this hotel. They do not serve eggs in this hotel. Luggage will be transported to the bus by tuktuks. Bus will leave for Jaipur at 8:00am. Distance from Bundi to Jaipur: 220 kilometers Travel time by bus: 3.5 hours approximately The bus will reach Jaipur at around 11:30am. Check-in at the hotel in Jaipur at 11:30am.
