Cook. The Ashley Mackenzie Retreat offers a private space exclusive to one group at any one time. The retreat comprises the Ashley Mackenzie Vila with two bedrooms and an additional two bedrooms in the Pukaki Homestead. For larger groups the Villa and Private Spa can be booked, together with Pukaki Homestead, offering exclusive use of all facilities. The Retreat also offers a unique night sky experience through their Pukaki Observatory and adjoining wine cellar. INSIDE ASHLEY MACKENZIE VILLA Two large double bedrooms with thick 600mm walls, high wood ceilings, Italian sandstone flooring, leadlight windows and double glazing. French doors open out to the patio and lawn with panoramic views over Lake Pukaki to Aoraki Mt Cook. Each bedroom has a tiled ensuite with a bath, hand shower and separate rain shower. The Drawing Room connects the two bedrooms and features a high ceiling, open fireplace, dining table, deep comfortable leather furnishings, and antique furniture. French doors to the lawn. An outdoor hot tub/bath for soaking under the dark sky reserve PUKAKI HOMESTEAD located just 200 metres from the Ashley Mackenzie Villa the Homestead provides ancillary accommodation in the guest wing. Featuring 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and private library for relaxation. Next to the guest wing THE GREAT HALL features a large 120sqm space with a huge French style dining table for shared meals, together with an open fire the perfect place to relax. 3

4 RELAX FANTAIL SPA filled with light and open to the lake and mountain views. The spa includes a sauna, hot tub, workout room and massage room. In absolute privacy, you can choose to have our massage outdoors. A selection of massage therapies is available. ACTIVITIES PUKAKI OBSERVATORY - DARK SKY EXPERIENCE The retreat is located in the gold level Aoraki International Dark Sky Reserve giving guests an opportunity to explore the dark sky. Join your hosts for a unique dark sky experience I the Pukaki Observatory and adjoining wine cellar. Staring in the wine cellar you will be treated to refreshments and nibbles whilst being introduced to the Dark Sky Reserve features. Moving through to the Observatory guests can view the Milky Way Galaxy, stars and planets through the telescope or using their astrophotography skills, photograph this unique experience. There is an additional cost of $115 per person non commissionable. Complimentary Cycle Trail bicycles (2 only) to explore the local section of the Alps 2 Ocean cycleway.
