2 Senior Executives Meeting FAQ s What s the dress code for the event? Casual to Business Casual for all events, including the banquet dinner. Tell me about my Transportation options? We suggest flying into Kona (KOA). This is located about 30 minutes from the resort. Delta has been designated as an official airline for the conference and is offering a group rate on all flights. To take advantage of the discount call Delta Airlines at or go online to Meeting ID: NMQH9 A cab to the hotel will cost about $90 Uber & Lyft just began service on the Big Island in April. It is unknown how extensive the service will be in January. If it is available, a ride will cost about $60. If you plan to spend much time on the island, we suggest renting a car. Parking at the resort is free for self-parking and $20 for valet. Hertz and Enterprise are located at the resort. What s the resort like? Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is a 5 Diamond Resort. It is located on a private beach that has been voted the #1 beach in the world. It is one of Marriott s Autograph properties. The room type available is: Golf Vista - $350; Golf Vista Deluxe - $375; Beachfront - $439; Ocean View - $469; Ocean View Deluxe - $750 There is no resort fee. There is a one-time porterage fee of $9.37. A $3.50 tip is suggested daily for housekeeping. You can reserve your room by calling or ing reservations@princehawaii.com. You should identify yourself with the International Factoring Association. Our discounted room rates are available 5 days pre and post meeting. January is the high season and the hotel will sell out during our meeting. You should make your room reservation as soon as possible. If you delay, you may not be able to reserve a room at the hotel. If you are looking to rent a villa or house, they may be available close to the hotel. Average temperature on the Kohala Coast in January is a high of 81 and low of 69. The monthly rainfall average is 3. What else should I know about the hotel? Mauna Kea Beach Hotel s origins date back to 1960 when legendary venture capitalist Laurance S. Rockefeller spotted the crystal clear waters and white sands of Kauna oa Bay and was inspired to create a great hotel that reflected the spirit of this special place. With thoughtful sensitivity to the dramatic natural surroundings, Rockefeller s team created a stunning mid-century modern design that in the 1960 s was far ahead of its time. As a crowning touch, he installed a 1,000+piece collection of museum-quality Asian, Polynesian and Oceanic art and artifacts throughout the hotel. The award-winning, 18-hole championship golf course has set the standard for Hawaii golf for generations. Elevated, undulating greens and prevailing coastal winds demand accuracy, while an epic over-the-ocean 3rd hole guarantees an unforgettable day of play. The Hapuna Golf Course is a second, less challenging course on property. Attendees will receive a 20% discount on their green fees. Anything else we should know before the meeting? We suggest joining the Marriott Rewards program before arriving at the hotel to receive complimentary internet access from your room. We are bringing our kids. Is this a good resort for them? The Mauna Kea is a great resort with an excellent beach, activities and a kids club (Keiki Adventures). If you are planning an extended stay on Hawaii with kids, you may want to look into spending a few days at the Hilton Waikoloa. Why are the activities on Tuesday and Friday? We try to select activities that are unique to the location we are visiting. The most unique thing to the Hawaii is the active volcano flow. It is suggested that you view this at dark. In order to keep our welcome reception, we needed to conduct this activity on Tuesday. We are conducting the Whale Watching on Friday as this is normally run in the afternoon and many of the attendees fly home on Saturday. What about Zika? For the latest information, please visit

5 Activities Tuesday - Volcano Lava Hike Tour Description: Witness creation in action, as we experience the magic of an active lava flow up close and personal. On this adventure you ll take a strenuous hike over rough terrain to the most recent flow front on Kilauea Volcano. Feel the searing heat of molten rock as it marches towards the ocean covering everything in its path.following the afternoon Hike we ll make our way back to Hilo to enjoy a local-style dinner at a Hawaii Island Landmark- Ken s House of Pancakes. Ken s is is consistently voted the best diner on the island by locals. Tour Includes: Round trip transfer via a luxury van, park entry fee, up to 3 hours of hiking from 6-8 miles in length, lunch (choice of turkey, ham, tuna or veggie sandwich, chips and brownie), beverages, dinner at Ken s walking staffs, raingear, daypacks, sunscreen and bug spray. Safely seated in our custom four-man kayaks, you ll delve underground and float through thousand-foot tunnels dripping with spring water.
