3 DETAIL ITINERARY 13 JUL (THU) SHANGHAI / HOHHOT Depart from Shanghai Pudong for your flight. Fly Shanghai-Pudong / Hohhot CA /1110 Upon arrival, be treated with the welcome Lunch in a nice local restaurant before transfer to visit the Mongolia museum particularly offering an insight into the history and traditions of the Mongolian people, and then visit the Dazhao Temple which is the oldest building and the largest temple in Hohhot, the rest time is free on your own at Manchu culture and muslin culture street. Overnight: Shangri-La Meals: Lunch & dinner 14 JUL (FRI) HOHHOT In the morning, we drive 1.5 hours to the Xilamuren grassland. Be greeted by the hospitable people with homemade wine. Free walk and enjoy the fresh air in the endless grassland. Try the hand-grasping meat in a ger restaurant. Visit the Aobao Mountain, a landmark for the grasslands, also a place where Mongolian people make wishes. In the afternoon, visit a local family. 4 15 JUL (SAT) HOHHOT / ORDOS After breakfast, drive 3.5 hours to the 3rd biggest desert in China-Kubuqi Desert. En route pass the Yellow River and the biggest firepower house in asia-daqi Power house and visit the Meidai Monastery Which was originally built in 1565 as a fortified capital city of the Daming Golden Kingdom in Ming Dynasty. In the Kubuqi Desert, the whole afternoon is free for you to enjoy all kinds of desert activities like: Camel riding, Zipping, sand sliding, or motorbike riding Then drive one hour to Ordos. Overnight: Crowne Plaza Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner ORDOS/HOHHOT/SHANGHAI 16JUL (SUN) In the morning, go to visit the Genghis Khan mausoleum. Genghis Khan built up Mongolia empire- the biggest nation in history. Nowadays, the Mongol still remains the ancestor worship.
