The main hotel building is five storeys high and includes a series of villas with private plunge pools and residential suites which run along the northern side of the hotel. With spacious bedrooms, plunge pool and private car park, these villas are the perfect choice for comfort and privacy. Each villa has two king-size bedrooms and one twin room, plus a separate living room complete with dining table and a fully operational kitchen. The villas afford beautiful views of the hotel gardens plus access to the private beach and facilities available across the hotel. For those traveling with domestic help / baby-sitters, the villas provide a connected maid s room. The villas also feature automatic curtains, wireless internet access, DVD player and LCD TV, writing desk and room safe. Luxurious bathrooms feature walk-in showers and separate bath areas and amenities such as comfortable bathrobes, high-end toiletries and a hair dryer. Private access to the villas is via their own entrances and parking space for 2 cars.

2 2) The Badriah Ballroom The ballroom has been a regular host of weddings since the hotel opened in May With 1,950 sq metres of space, this is the largest ballroom in the country and can be hired for between 400 and 2,000 guests. To ensure the special day runs smoothly, a team of 60 colleagues are on hand, including 20 service staff, 10 valet parkers, 20 kitchen staff and a further 10 colleagues back of house. A typical wedding party consumes around 40kgs of chocolate and the average amount spent on flowers can range from KD7,000 upto KD15,000. The pièce de résistance is the bridal suite, located above the ballroom. It contains five separate areas for the bride and her entourage including a bedroom, private dressing area, separate bathrooms and a built in salon. 3)Children s activities in Kuwait Adults, teens and children can enjoy an impressive number of sporting and leisure activities. Structure & Design The design of the 55,000sq m hotel resort was complete by New York architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, who implemented Jumeirah Group s vision of creating a truly luxurious and idyllic destination in Kuwait that brings an exciting set of new experiences interlaced with heritage and history. The original Messilah Beach Hotel opened in Kuwait in 1974 and quickly became one of the favourite destinations for both locals and visitors alike. The Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa was constructed on the same historical site and features numerous aspects of Arabic architecture in a contemporary setting, reflecting the heritage of the area and the future of hospitality. Messilah, derived from the word Massiyalah, denotes a low-lying area where waters merge and flow into the sea. Water features flow from the central lobby and across the resort to connect with streams, channels and fountains in the gardens. Water is also reflected in a series of striking sculptures and in the interior design of the hotel.
