Flat ribbons will be awarded 2nd 4th place in each jump height class to dogs earning a qualifying score. Green ribbons will be awarded to all dogs earning a qualifying score. Double Q rosettes will be awarded to Excellent B dogs who qualify in Standard and JWW on the same day while supply lasts after which QQ pins will be offered. QQQ Pins will be awarded to Excellent B dogs earning a Triple Q. Special rosette and jump bar awarded to dogs earning the MACH or PACH title. Schedule Novice B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. Excellent B/A Standard, JWW and FAST classes will run together by jump heights with division B running before division A. The preferred classes will run intermingled with the regular classes by height. Each class will be briefed separately. Lunch breaks will be at the Judge s discretion. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump will be provided for all exhibitors. Check in will begin Friday at noon Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 am. Armbands may be picked up at the score table each day. See next page for start times, class and height order in each ring.

3 Walk through will begin as soon as the Judge has approved the course. This will be at approximately: 12:30 pm on Friday 7:30 am on Saturday and Sunday. T2B, Open, Novice and all FAST Classes all heights will walk the course together prior to their class being judged. See next page for Excellent Standard and JWW walk through directions. The order will be walk/run, walk/run etc. Each group will walk immediately before they run. Dogs will be judged from the lowest armband number in each class to the highest armband number in each class. Run Order Friday Excellent Standard and JWW courses will be ready for walk through at approximately 12:30. Handlers are required to walk both courses before judging begins at 1:00 pm. Once judging begins in these classes no additional walk throughs will be allowed. T2B and all FAST will walk separately before the class begins. 4 Height Cards and Measuring All dogs, regardless of jump height, who are under two years of age and do not have a temporary height card or are over two years of age and do not have a permanent height card must be measured prior to their first run of the weekend. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to ensure their dog is measured before their first run. Measurement of dogs will take place near the score table. Cindy Macklin and Kathie Leggett will measure dogs for cards. Set Ups All crating space will be in the covered sheep barn adjacent to the Sports Arena Lawn. You may begin setting up your crates at 11 am on Friday. Food and beverages A variety of vendors will have food for purchase. Conflicts We understand some dogs may be entered in breed competition as well as agility. We also understand that other rings may be quite a distance from the agility rings. Every effort will be made to accommodate conflicts, however, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to check in, mark their dog as a conflict if necessary and walk courses when assigned. We can reset bars for exhibitors caught in other rings BUT we cannot hold any course waiting for conflicts. Excerpt from the AKC Agility Judge newsletter dated June As discussed in the Regulations for Agility Trials and the AKC Agility Judges Guidelines, conflicts pertain to conflicts occurring at the agility trial, not to conflicts of a personal nature that may cause the exhibitor to arrive late or need to leave early from a trial. Examples of conflicts that should be accommodated: handler running multiple dogs, handler or dog that is scheduled to be in two different rings at the same time, and when a handler or dog is entered in multiple venues held on the same show grounds, (exhibitors volunteering in other rings). Examples of issues that are NOT conflicts include but are not limited to: arriving at the trial site late and missing either the run or walk through, having a personal appointment or duty to attend to, or any other scheduling conflict issue of a personal nature. This is also true for exhibitors who wish to move themselves up in the running order so that they may leave the trial early or down in the running order so that they may arrive late. Handlers may not be moved up or down in the running order due to these types of personal issues. Handlers who earn qualifying scores while violating this policy will be excused and lose those legs. Exhibitors may NOT move their own dogs at the gate. Note to Handlers with more than one dog in the same height. Dogs MUST be kept in the same order as the random draw. Dogs can be moved up or down but must be kept in the same order.

5 Notice to Exhibitors This event is open to all AKC registered dogs 15 months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have obtained AKC ILP/PAL numbers, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registrable breeds that may participate. Running orders will be determined by random draw. Handlers with more than one dog in a class will have those dogs separated as much as possible. If a dog and/or handler are dismissed, regardless of the reason, there will be NO refund of entry fees. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. 50% Refund for bitches in season after the closing date and up to Friday before the event. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the trial. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. No smoking in buildings or arena. Dogs under six months of age are prohibited at AKC Agility Trials Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Rabies vaccine is required in the State of California.
