Turtles are the big drawcard here, nesting and hatching before your eyes from November to March. Bargara has a series of rocky coves that protect the sandy beaches, perfect for a peaceful swim. A mere 15 minutes drive away is Bundaberg, home of the Bundaberg Rum Bondstore, Bundaberg Ginger Beer and the Hinkler Hall of Aviation.
