3 Day 1 Tuesday 19 June 2018 Monaco > Villefranche-sur-Mer (12nm / 45mins) Nestled in a large, deep bay with clear waters, the delightful town of Villefranche-sur-Mer cascades down the hillside to the sea. This picturesque harbour town feels totally unspoilt and as though it s trapped in time, with fishermen still bringing in their catch in every morning, market stalls being set up in the square and plenty of little boutiques to discover in amongst the narrow, cobbled streets. The bay itself is stunning with a beach stretching along towards St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Welcome on board JEMS! Settle in and make yourself at home before cruising along the coastline to Villefranche-sur-Mer. Here, the yacht can anchor and tender in to see the town, a festival of colour and old-world charm. Sit in a café and watch the world go by to the backdrop of the glistening sea. In the evening, take a trip up to the Medieval town of Eze, perched high above the sea with stunning views across St Jean and Villefranche. Try La Mère Germaine, La Chèvre d Or, Le Château Eza in Eze. At anchor in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer. 3

4 Day 3 & 4 Wednesday 20 & Thursday 21 June 2018 Villefranche > Antibes (10nm / 40mins) Antibes is a Greek fortified town originally named Antipolis in the 5th century BC, before being taken over by the Romans and has since always been an active port for trading along the Mediterranean. The historic old town (Vieil Antibes) within the 16th-century ramparts has retained much of its original character with quaint cobbled streets, a Provencal market, restaurants, street cafes and bars. Greater Antibes embraces the Cap d Antibes, studded with luxurious mansions, and the modern beach resort of Juan-les-Pins. Make way for the Cap d Antibes to anchor for a while and enjoy a bite to eat, a swim or some water sports. Or you might like to stretch your legs with a tour of the old town and the ramparts along the sea. The marché Provençal in front of the town hall is open every day in summer with fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and local products. There are plenty of little streets for exploring, lots of little shops, restaurants and cafés. There is also the Picasso Museum in town if you are keen on art. Enjoy a welcome lunch on board. 5 Day 5 & 6 Friday 22 & Saturday 23 June 2018 Antibes > Cannes > Lérins Islands (5nm / 20mins) Once described as paradise facing purgatory, this unspoilt archipelago looks right on to Cannes, just a couple of nautical miles away and offer a contrast to the city with their pure, unadulterated and modest atmosphere. Sainte Marguerite is the largest, where you can enjoy a walk in the cool pine forest and visit the old prison where the man in the iron mask was held captive. Saint Honorat is home to a monastery where the monks hold services and tend their now famous vineyards. Enjoy a private wine tasting on Saint Honorat and visit the vineyards. Tour the old fort on Sainte Marguerite and enjoy a walk around the island. The turquoise, clear waters between the islands will beckon, however, so a swim is likely to be high on your list of activities! Enjoy lunch on board or at La Tonnelle on the island of Saint Honorat. 6 Day 7 & 8 Sunday 24 & Monday 25 June 2018 Cannes > San Remo (35nm / 2hrs 30mins) Fifty kilometres east of Europe's premier gambling capital lies San Remo, Italy's own Monte Carlo, a sun-dappled Mediterranean resort with a casino, a clutch of ostentatious villas and lashings of Riviera-style grandeur. Known colloquially as the City of Flowers for its colourful summer blooms, San Remo also stages an annual music festival (the supposed inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest) and the world's longest professional one-day cycling race, the 298km Milan San Remo classic. Welcome to Italy! You can cruise around the near by areas, or go into San Remo to explore the city, try your hand in the casino or take a stroll down the promenade. So many wonderful restaurants to chose from, but our favourites include: Tortuga or Ristorante Byblos. At anchor. 6

7 Day 9 & 10 Tuesday 26 & Wednesday 27 June 2018 San Remo > Portofino (65nm / 4hrs 30mins) One of the most photographed villages along the coast, with a decidedly romantic and affluent aura, Portofino has long been a popular destination. Over the years it has been ruled by the French, English, Spanish, and Austrians, as well as marauding bands of 16th-century pirates! During the heady 1950s and 1960s, Portofino was a magnet for visitors such as the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson, Bogart and Bacall, Taylor and Burton, Onassis and Maria Callas, Winston Churchill, Eva Peron Spend the next few days in Portofino, taking a stroll around town in the afternoon, browsing around the shops or maybe just watch the world go by at a café. The charm and beauty of this famous village still draws people from all over the world. There are some great walks around the area including a number of paths that take you from the town and up into the surrounding hillside with great views for the more energetic! 8 Day 10 Thursday 28 July 2018 Portofino > Monaco (12nm / 45mins) The mythical Principality of Monaco, tucked in between the Alps and the azure sea, covers just 2 square kilometres, is the world's smallest sovereign state after the Vatican. Famous for its casino and home to the legendary F1 Grand Prix, it attracted enormous attention world-wide when the Hollywood actress, Grace Kelly, wed the Prince in what became the wedding of the century. Monaco is every bit as glamorous as one might expect but it s also a charming country offering attractions that appeal to every walk of life. Visit the old town with its Palace, Cathedral and Oceanographic Museum and aquarium, which faces out on the sea. Enjoy some shopping at the designer boutiques or cruise over to the little town of Menton on the Italian border. Menton is a lovely spot to stop, swim, relax and enjoy the clear waters. In the early evening, return to Monaco for a night in town and a chance to sample the cuisine of the gourmet restaurants, try your luck at the Casino or get your dancing shoes on for some nightlife at the famous hotspots. 9 Day 11 Friday 29 July 2018 Monaco Wake up in Monaco for your final morning before saying good bye to JEMS and the crew. Take a last swim before you disembark! A berth will be booked at the old port of Monaco for your disembarkation. The crew will serve a farewell brunch. 11 Day 1 Tuesday 19 June 2018 Monaco > Calvi (90nm / 6hrs 30mins) Dominating the entrance to the Gulf of Calvi is the Citadel, built over an extended period from the 13th to the 16th century, high on a rock (calvus), from which the town s name is derived. Calvi lies in an idyllic location with a large sheltered bay to the front and the mountains behind. Close to the town is the Revellata Peninsula, a rugged and beautiful coastline that faces directly out to sea. South of Calvi, landscapes become wild, steep, and cut into a bright red granite Welcome on board JEMS! Once you have settled in and made yourself comfortable, set sail for Calvi. The marina is a palm-lined quay where you ll find an assortment of elegant fish restaurants and lively cocktail bars. On the south side is a long crescent beach of fine white sand with a gentle slope and safe bathing in the turquoise-blue waters. Uptown, walk in the narrow streets that snake to the magnificent citadel. A walk up to the trendy chill out jazz bar Tao built into the walls offers a stunning view over the port. Enjoy lunch in town, perhaps at La Villa, and dinner in on board your yacht. In port or at anchor. 11

12 Day 2 Wednesday 20 June 2018 Calvi > La Girolata (30nm / 2hrs 20mins) The setting here just down the coast from Calvi in La Girolata is grandiose; a fortress on a headland hides the tiny hamlet that is situated right in the middle of a National Park. There are only two ways to access it by donkey or by boat, the latter being far more agreeable! Make way for La Girolata, past the vertical red cliffs of Piana and the Gulf of Porto, both of which are points of outstanding beauty. Enjoy being at anchor in the bay, swimming, using the water toys and taking in the lovely views. The waters here are some of the clearest you will find in the Mediterranean. Lunch at Le Bel Ombra, a beach restaurant with a shaded terrace serving fresh fish and seafood (lobster is a speciality), or at La Cabane du Berger. Enjoy dinner on board in a secluded bay. 13 Day 3 Thursday 21 June 2018 La Girolata > Ajaccio (35nm / 2hrs 30mins) Ajaccio the Imperial, birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. The city is dotted with sites relating to the Imperial memory, from his childhood home to seafront statues, museums and street names - so much so that Emile Bergerat described it as the "memory of the great Corsican, surrounded by houses". It s a great town to wander around, with mellow-toned buildings and buzzing cafes not to mention its large marina and the Sanguinaires islands, a few kilometres to the west. A comfortable stroll will introduce to best of the Old Town landmarks - Foch Square, the Town Hall, Napoleon's statue and the house where he lived until he was nine. On Rue Fesch, step inside a famous museum for about an hour to see the works of Botticelli, Veronese and even Titiano. For those more interested in water sports and relaxation, stop across the bay by the fine lace of granite that form the Sanguinaires islands. They are particularly magnificent in the sunset. 14 Day 4 & 5 Friday 22 & Saturday 23 June 2018 Ajaccio > Porto Cervo (60nm / 4hrs 20mins) Created in the 1960s by Prince Karim Aga Khan, Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda known for its sunshine, sandy beaches and emerald waters. Originally a small fishing village, Porto Cervo is now a fashionable destination with beautiful villas and luxury hotels. The famous Piazzetta and the small streets that wind through the centre of the town are full of prestigious boutiques. In the evening, the lights of elegant restaurants and cutting-edge bars along the waterfront entice partygoers to enjoy the nightlife! Welcome to Sardinia! Enjoy a wonder around the town exploring the shops and restaurants. The majority of the shops are on the waters edge and make for fantastic window shopping if nothing else! The following day enjoy the crystal clear water around Porto Cervo, the crew will get all of the water toys prepared for you, should you fancy zipping around on a jet ski. The famous nightlife might also tempt you in the evening, and perhaps dancing on tables in Billionaire Club! 15 Day 6 & 7 Sunday 24 & Monday 25 June 2018 Porto Cervo > Maddalena Islands (5nm / 20mins) The Maddalena Archipelago is situated at the Northeastern part of Sardinia and is composed of 7 main islands (La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli and St. Maria) and about 60 smaller islands, all of them with the most interesting landscapes and natural features. Splendid beaches, shallow sea with shining turquoise waters, quaint inlets interspersed with rose-coloured granite rocks, all recall an isolated atoll in the Pacific Ocean. It s a haven of peace and beauty. A lazy morning cruise towards the Maddalena archipelago which is very close by. Explore Budelli and Santa Maria, which surround the emerald green lagoon of Porto della Madonna. Here you ll find exotic beaches with turquoise blue waters. Building is now forbidden on the island, but you can still discover a small monastery where Benedictine monks took shelter during the Middle Ages. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board. 16 Day 8 & 9 Tuesday 26 & Wednesday 27 June 2018 Maddalena Islands > Porto Vecchio (25nm / 1hr 45mins) Porto Vecchio is also known as the city of salt, because it was built on salt-water marshes. The city presents all the advantages of a seaside resort with its age-old bastion and beautiful marina being particular highlights. Arguably Corsica's most vibrant town since it is one of the more sophisticated resorts on the island, it has long been a favourite haunt of Italians who add great vitality to the town during the summer months. Cruise off towards the Corsican city of Porto Vecchio. At its centre lies a smart marina and high above, the walled old town, with its leafy church square, boutiques and restaurants. It s a pleasant stroll about town if you wish to stretch your legs. Alternatively, there are a number of stunning beaches just a few miles away where the yacht can anchor and you can enjoy some water sports. The horseshoe-shaped Santa Giulia bay has shallow, lagoon-like waters and is a particular favourite. You can have dinner at Le Belvedere, Casa Del Mar & Spa, or Grand Hotel de Cala Rossa & Spa. 17 Day 10 Thursday 28 June 2018 Porto Vecchio > Bonifacio (25nm / 1hr 45mins) Bonifacio, a town perched impressively high on the cliffs overlooking the waters below offers a spectacular experience as you enter its harbour, negotiating your way past a narrow entrance hidden at the foot of its cliffs. It s one of the must dos of your trip! Head over to Bonifacio and stop at the island of Cavallo in the Lavezzi archipelago in time for lunch. Here, the only thing to do is take in the gorgeous setting. It s paradise Then, a short trip through the Bonifacio Straits take you to this lively town, which boasts many restaurants and bars, most of which play live music. There is also the Sperone Golf Club whose course wends its way across the cliff tops overlooking the Bonifacio Straits. Enjoy lunch on board or at the Hotel des Pêcheurs on Cavallo Island.
