We bring you the best trails selected by the best local adventurers on their quest of discovering. Discovering the Carstic landscapes Arrival in Trebinje, South East After the arrival to the airport, the guests are transferred to Trebinje, Mediterranean town in the southeast. They are welcomed by the local guide from Walk with me agency and presented with their program. Overnight is organized in four star hotel Platani in Trebinje. Third Hiking Day Čvrsnica After the breakfast in hotel Bristol, transfer is organized to the mountain plateau of Blidinje. Hiking begins along the old rebel trails to the location of Hajdučka vrata, coloquially called the top of. Overnight and dinner are organized at motel Hajdučke vrleti. 4 Fourth and Last Hike Vran Planina After rich traditional breakfast in Hajdučke vrleti, hiking is organized to the mountain Vran. Dinner and overnight is organized at motel Hajdučke vrleti. First Hiking Day Trebinjska šuma After the breakfast, guests are taken to the area Trebinjska šuma, where the carstic rocks are covered in brush providing excellent trails for whole day hiking. The dinner is organized in Trebinje with traditional local dishes. The guests then head on to south Herzegovinian town of Čapljina where the overnight is organized in four star hotel Mogorjelo. Second Hiking Day Mount Prenj After the breakfast, guests are taken to Mostar where the hiking begins to one of the highest mountains of central Dinaric Alps Prenj. Beautiful landscape covered in pine trees producing oxygen-rich air will be the trail to Zelena Glava location providing an excellent view of the surrounding region. 4 Active Pilgrimage Medjugorje 7 days/6 nights Dubrovnik or Split airport Small village of Medjugorje has been introduced to the world in 1981, after the apparition of Virgin Mary. Local children have witnessed the event that influenced their own and the lives of millions of other people. Each year since 1981, Medjugorje has been visited by thousands of pilgrims. "Active Pilgrimage Medjugorje" offers unique mixture of spiritual and active holiday, experiencing everything Medjugorje and surrounding area have to offer. Active Pilgrimage Medjugorje Welcome to Medjugorje Upon the arrival to the airport of choice, guests are transferred to Medjugorje where they will meet the local guide who will offer them introduction to the town. Lunch or dinner will be organized at Wine Hotel Cesarica, after which guests can attend the mass at St. James Church and evening mass program. Overnight is organized in Hotel Cesarica. s Heritage On the 5th day, guests will visit medieval castle of Ljubuša above nearby Ljubuški, where they will be introduced to rich history of the region. Day of Spirituality After the breakfast, guests will be guided to the Apparition Hill, site of the apparition of Virgin Mary in Morning mass will follow, and guests will have the free time in downtown Medjugorje until lunch. Mother s Village is a place where guests can really feel the acts of benevolence Medjugorje is known for, as they are introduced to an orphanage founder in 1993 by the local Franciscans. Its Old Town and 16th century Old Bridge protected as UNESCO World Heritage site, will certainly make our guests acquainted with the different civilizations and cultures mixing for more than 5 centuries. Lunch is organized in traditional restaurant of Udovice placed in the viticultural plateau of Brotnjo. Guests will be able to taste local lamb. Tasting the local wines is organized in wine cellar Andrija, family owned winery in nearby village of Paoča, as they explore the vineyards and the cellars. Evening pilgrimage follows after dinner in Medjugorje. Day of Inspiration After the breakfast, guests are climbing the hill of Križevac. Cross erected in 1930 s by local resident is a site of prayer and beautiful view of Medjugorje and the region. Morning mass in St. James Church follows, as then the guests can have a relaxing lunch in Hotel Cesarica. During the visit to Cenacolo commune our visitors can witness the testimonies of those whose life has been saved my Medjugorje as they rose from the hell of drug addiction through hard work and prayer organized in the commune. Inspiration can be found in the House of Prayer owned by Canadian couple Nancy and Patrick. They have decided to devote their lives to Medjugorje and to inspire people to change their lives to better. Evening mass program follows, after which guests will have dinner. Settle in Trebinje and start the adventure After the arrival to the airport, transfer is organized to Trebinje, pleasant town in southeast Bosnia. Tour of Trebinje is organized upon the arrival. Visitors will be able to explore the historical Old Town whose walls have once protected its inhabitants from the invaders. Having an afternoon tea or coffee under the hundred year old plane trees on the main city square will make a nice rest after a long trip. Gourmet Wine and food from Eastern Upon the arrival to the airport, visitors are transferred to Trebinje, small mediterranean town on the southeast corner of Bosnia. After the presentation of Trebinje and the tour, guests are taken to wine tasting in one of the best Herzegovinian wineries, family owned Andjelic Wine Cellar. There, our guests will not only try the best of Žilavka and Vranac, white and red wine, but also experience what it takes to produce a single bottle of quality wine. The route used is the former narrow gauge railroad track passing by once thriving villages of Popovo and abandoned Austrian railway stations. At the end of the route, bikers will visit Vjetrenica, spectacular cave once made by the underground stream of now tamed river Trebišnjica.
