6 INTERNACIONALNA KONFERENCIJA 11. septembar, godinu dana kasnije SVEČANA CEREMONIJA DODELE NAGRADA SVETSKOG REDA NAUKA OBRAZOVANJE - KULTURA Evropska akademija za informatizaciju, osnovana kraljevskim dekretom godine, sa sedištem u Briselu, čiji je predsednik akademik, prof. dr Eduard Evreinov, i Albert Schweitzer internacionalni univerzitet, osnovan godine, sa sedištem u Ženevi, čiji je predsednik prof. dr Alfonso R. More, organizovali su svečanu ceremoniju dodele nagrada Svetskog reda nauka obrazovanje kultura, novembra godine u Madridu. Evropska asocijacija za informatizaciju ustanovila je Svetski red «NAUKA. OBRAZOVANJE. KULTURA», kao glavni stožer Globalnog sistema obrazovanja. Članovi Svetskog reda su eminentni naučnici, izuzetne političke ličnosti, progresivne ličnosti biznisa, poznati profesori, doktori i grand doktori filozofije. Svi oni podržavaju duhovne zahteve i finansijske uslove naučnika i profesora Globalnog sistema obrazovanja. Svetski red nagrađuje izuzetne ličnosti čovečanstva ordenom kavaljera, komandera, kao i drugim titulama. Evropski univerzitet iz Beograda, Evropska akademija za informatizaciju iz Brisela, Albert Schweitzer internacionalni univerzitet iz Ženeve, Londonska diplomatska akademija sa sedištem u Londonu, kao i mnogi drugi renomirani univerziteti i asocijacije širom sveta pridaju ogroman značaj Svetskom redu NAUKA. OBRAZOVANJE. KULTURA, koji ima zadatak da privuče eminentne naučnike i javne ličnosti za obuku i atestaciju najkvalifikovanijih eksperata, stvara objedinjen informativni prostor i neformalne veze između eminentnih osoba u svetu. Svetski red NAUKA. OBRAZOVANJE. KULTURA apeluje na naučnike, državnike, javne ličnosti i biznismene da pomognu u obuci najkvalifikovanijih eksperata za rešavanje globalnih problema. Evropski univerzitet u potpunosti podržava projekat Globalnog sistema obrazovanja (GES), koji je predložila Evropska akademija za informatizaciju. Evropski univerzitet je pristupio Globalnom sistemu obrazovanja i organizuje obuku eksperata za rešavanje globalnih problema Evropske unije.

London Diplomatic Academy Newsletter THE NEW EUROPE No-one could have possibly imagined as little as 15 years ago that the social and economic world map was on the verge of experiencing such dramatic change. The disintegration of the USSR and the emergence of new independent nations coincided with a radical realignment of the map of the Old Europe marked by a tenyear period of constructive and decisive leadership. The concept of an enlarged European Union, to be strengthened through an effective stable Presidency and the introduction of a single currency, was a daring, momentous. and skillfully designed undertaking. With the passage of the years, the old project of Jean Monnet has gained support and we have been witnesses to the creation of a Federation of States based on the principles of Democracy, free trade and respect for minority groups. The rotation in power of liberal and social democrat parties has served to show the vigor of a project that never ceases to progress. Recent summit meetings of the EU Heads of Government have highlighted the need to strengthen and refine criteria in three areas: border controls, a structured and stable Presidency, and a common Diplomacy. All need to be addressed by the European Union as a matter of urgency in the coming months. It is now quite evident that the ultra-nationalist movements in France, Austria, Holland, UK etc have been fueled by the activities of mafia groups organised in Europe around illegal immigration. The growth of xenophobic parties

14 has been a clear reaction to organized illegal immigration, in contradiction to the centuries-old tradition of tolerance in Europe. (Photo UN) Secondly, Europe lacks a structured central government such as that of the USA. Until now, the Presidency of the UE has been held in rotation for six-month periods by the governments of each of the 15 member states. This arrangement served well during the long period of consolidation and creation of the single currency, but it is now clearly outmoded. The proposal is to create a stable 4-6 year Presidency to be held by a statesman without direct responsibilities in the government of his country of origin. Among the first names to be suggested are those of the current President of Spain, José María Aznar, and Tony Blair, both of whom could soon be "available" for the post. Nor should the possibility of a woman candidate be dismissed, such as the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, well experienced in international affairs and a confirmed pro-european, who last year announced she would be leaving her post at the UN. The final challenge to be faced by the European Union is the creation of a common Diplomacy. There is little logic to the immense expense of multiple Foreign Missions around the world of countries that have so many interests in common, that share a unified market, and that enjoy free circulation of persons and goods among themselves. Few doubt that the European Union will have to unify its diplomatic activity to create a more cohesive and especially a less expensive model which, among other benefits, will bring notable advantages to the new countries to be incorporated in the coming years (Poland, Hungry and the Baltic states). The immediate challenge is to define a common diplomatic training programme for all as the foundation of a new diplomatic corps. We believe that the EU will have no option but to create an International Diplomatic School to upgrade current career diplomats and define common standards of training for future diplomats. The EURO has proved to be a potent catalyst for change in the Old Continent. No-one would have forecast the stabilising effects it has had in only six months. In its pre-launch period, it suffered badly against the dollar, but is now valued by countries with weak national currencies who are welcoming euros in place of dollars in their national markets. Central European countries such as Hungary, Romania or the Czech Republic now prefer to buy euros and choose the new single currency as their value of reference. Chancellor Kholl is not the only voice predicting that the pound sterling and the Swiss franc will disappear within five and ten years respectively. And, well understood, this is a prediction that reflects current trends in the Old Continent. Prof. Dr. Alfonso Roldán Moré President

19 BEOGRAD - prof. dr. Milija Zečevič, osnivač i rektor Evropskog univerziteta za internacionalni menadžment i biznis (EUM) je nedavno imenovan za komandanta Svetskog reda Nauka Obrazovanje - Umetnost sa bazom u Londonu. Ovo visoko internacionalno odlikovanje je uvrstilo prof. dr. Miliju Zečevića, kao jedinstvenog pojedinca u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori, u vodeće evropske stručnjake kvalifikovane da učestvuju u realizaciji toka evropske integracije. U svojoj zemlji prof. dr. Milija Zečević daje svoj doprinos na najbolji i najplemenitiji način edukaciji i treningu generacija mladih ljudi. Primenjujući novo znanje u internacionalnom menadžmentu i biznisu, mladi će dokazati da je Beograd svet jer su Srbija i Crna Gora bogate prirodnim i ljudskim potencijalom koji internacionalna zajednica poštuje i želi da integriše. Sama činjenica bila je povod za naš razgovor sa profesorom Zečevićem. Kako ste zaslužili tu čast da postanete Komandant Svetskog reda Nauka Obrazovanje Kultura? Prva pojava inostranih, ili bolje reći, američkih studija u Srbiji i bivšoj Jugoslaviji je povezana sa mojim imenom. Pre više od 15 godina potpisali smo sporazum o implementaciji programa internacionalnog menadžmenta sa Menhetn Institutom za menadžment iz Njujorka i pre 11 godina sa Franko-američkim Institutom za menadžment iz Pariza (IFAM) što mi je dalo ekskluzivno pravo da organizujem program BBA i MBA studija u Beogradu. U poslednjih 11 godina, 700 studenata je diplomiralo i dve trećine od njih se zaposlilo u raznim multinacionalnim kompanijama u Sjedinjenim državama i Evropi, a ostali su se pridružili najuspešnijim kompanijama u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori. Hteo bi da naglasim da je Fakultet za internacionalni menadžment osnovan pre 9 godina prema Zakonu o Univerzitetu Srbije, a pre dve godine i Fakultet za evropski biznis. On već broji 70 studenata, od 80 prijavljenih kandidata, koji su upisali I godinu, a na II godini će biti 40 studenata. Kakve mogućnosti za zaposlenje imaju studenti po završetku četvrte godine studija i kakva se dalja naučna dostignuća nude? Po završetku četvrte godine studija i po dobijanju titule diplomiranog menadžera za internacionalni biznis, nije nikakav problem naći posao; 420 studenata je već steklo to zvanje. To dokazuje angažman naših diplomaca, magistara, doktora u poznatim svetskim kompanijama ne samo u Beogradu nego i u Parizu, Milanu, Minhenu, Londonu i drugim biznis centrima. Oni govore vodećim svetskim jezicima što je rezultat intenzivnog učenja 2 ili 3 svetska jezika; njihovi programi su evropski orijentisani što znači da je sistem obrazovanja uskladjen sa shvatanjem biznisa, marketinga, kulture, književnosti i drugih oblasti u visoko razvijenim zemljama Zapada. EUM nudi specijalističke, magistarske i doktorske studije diplomiranim menadžerima koji žele da se usavrše i specijalizuju u posebnim oblastima. Do sada je 27 kandidata steklo diplomu magistra, a 12 diplomu doktora internacionalnog menadžmenta. Profesori i stručnjaci u stalnom radnom odnosu na Evropskom univerzitetu imaju svo neophodno znanje i akademske titule i učestvuju u raznim naučnim projektima. Jedan od najvažćznijih tekućih projekata je Internacionalni mendžment kao faktor uključenja Srbije i Crne Gore u Evropsku uniju. Postoji još jedan važan projekat u koji smo uključeni sa Nemačkojugoslovenskom biznis asocijacijom, a radi se o uticaju nemačkog biznisa na ekonomski razvoj u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori; imaćemo Okrugli sto na tu temu 17. jula u Dizeldorfu. Naravno, naši profesori su autori velikog broja naučnih radova i knjiga Šta je osnov vaše tvrdnje da su diplomirani menadžeri, magistri i doktori EUM-a kvalifikovani za evropsku i svetsku biznis konkurenciju? Činjenica je da oni znanje ne stiču samo u Beogradu nego i u svetskim naučnim centrima. Studenti IFAM-a, na primer, pohadjaju dve godine u Beogradu, a treću u Parizu. Predavanja su na engleskom i francuskom jer je jezik zemlje domaćina takodje obavezan. Studenti MBA programa redovno prisustvuju predavanjima u Parizu u Francuskoj i Sjedinjenim državama. Saradnja EUM-a i njegovih članica u Parizu (IFAM), Njujorku ( MIM), Budimpešti (Menadžment konsalting centar) i beogradskim fakultetom za graditeljski menadzment i Fakultetom za menadžment malih preduzeća nudi ogromne mogućnosti za sticanje novih znanja i veština. Najbolji dokaz njihove sposobnosti za svetski biznis proizilazi iz činjnice da mnogi od njih grade svoje karijere u kompanijama i institucijama kao što su Mercedes Benz, Societe General, Majkrofajnens banka, Rajfajzen banka, Svetska banka, City bank u Njujorku, Nacionalna Štedionica, Autokomerc, Beneton, Britiš ervejz, Lufthanza, Delta, BBC Svet poštuje znanje i stručne kvalitete naših profesora i stručnjaka, ali i onih koji uče! Niko ne može da ospori doprinos naših ljudi svetskoj nauci i umetnosti. Mnogi od njih su u samom vrhu svetske piramide u različitim oblastima kreativnosti kao što su medicina, informatika, matematičke nauke, književnost. Oni su postali članovi evropskih i američkih naučnih institucija i asocijacija od visokog ugleda dajući svoj doprinos uključenju Srbije i Crne Gore u Evropu. Članstvo u Svetskom redu Nauka- Obrazovanje- Umetnost, koji je osnovala Evropska akademija za informatizaciju, se dobija samo po pozivu. Meni je ta čast pripala predlogom od strane Londonske diplomatske akademije. Kandidat mora biti istaknuta osoba u datoj oblasti koji treba da da svoj doprinos internacionalizaciji procesa sa najmanje 100 priznatih radova. Svi veliki ljudi u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori su pružili značajan doprinos intrenacionalizaciji svojim dostignucima i kreativnošću

20 jedinstvene prirode afirmišući, izmedju ostalog, aspekt nacionalnog. Tako, bez obzira na to koliko govore o nama da smo nacionalisti u negativnom smislu, mora se naglasiti da se internacionalizam i nacionalizam medjusobno ne isključuju vec doprinose boljem razumevanju pojma nacije u svetskoj zajednici. Da li imate odgovor na to pitanje s obzirom na to da ste član istaknutih internacionalnih organizacija i zbog posla ste u kontaktu sa uticajnim licnostima sveta? Ne bih želeo da budem pretenciozan, ali koliko razumem tekuća zbivanja u zemlji i svetske tokove koje utiču na njih, odgovor na pitanje sigurno znaju lideri velikih projekata u Vašingtonu i Briselu koji postoje još od ranije i koji očigledno čekaju pravi momenat za implementaciju. To bi verovatno bio kraj političkog haosa koji, sudeći po znakovima, ulazi u poslednju fazu, ali i kraj procesa tranzicije, na primer nužne ekonomske i društvene reforme. One treba da obezbede apsolutnu sigurnost investicija vlasnicima kapitala, koji su zainteresovani za investiranje u Srbiju i Crnu Goru. Medjutim, treba imati strategiju i definisane superiorne i kratkoročne ciljeve. Kratkoročni ciljevi podrazumevaju dnevnu politiku i izbore, a naš Univerzitet se odlučio za više, strateške ciljeve. Istraživanja eksperata EUM-a su pokazala da posle uvodjenja EURA kao jedinstvene evropske valute, jedan od prvih ciljeva Srbije i Crne Gore je stvoriti jedinstveni medijski prostor. To bi nesumnjivo bila neprocenjiva investicija zbog velikog američkog i evropskog medijskog interesa. od CNN-a do BBC-a i drugih medija u Londonu, Parizu, Berlinu i Rimu. Evropa je spremna da osvoji medijski prostor prva, napravi značajniju investiciju i to ne smemo nikako propustiti. Samo na taj način ćemo iskusiti realne promene i evropske integracione procese i stvoriti od Beograda novu evropsku metropolu. NAJVIŠA SVETSKA PRIZNANJA Prof. dr Milija Zečević je i redovni profesor Evropskog univerziteta za internacionalni menadžment i biznis, na predmetima Internacionalni menadžment, Internacionalne relacije i Evropski biznis, na osnovnim i postdiplomskim studijama. Predsednik je Jugoslovenskog društva za menadžment ravzoja i obrazovanja i ekspert Savezne vlade za internacionalni menadžment i iznis. Njegov rad nagrađen je raznim međunarodnim priznanjima, kao što je članstvo u Londonsikoj dipklomatskoj akademiji i Evropskom savetu za biznis i obrazovanje sa sedištem u Ženevi. Filozofija internacionalnog menadžmenta i biznisa, zato, stvara poslovnu svest koja menja poslovnu sredinu. Na često pitanje ljudi iz sveta da li je Beograd jedan od biznis centara i da li i u srpsku prestonicu treba ulagati kao u Prag, Varšavu, Budimpeštu i druge centre zemalja u tranziciji, uvek odgovaram «I Beograd je svet», a Srbija i Crna Gora bogate prirodnim i ljudskim potencijalima u koje valja ulagati što pre. Zašto Amerikanci, na primer, ne bi finansirali u beogradsku centralnu ulicu Džordž Vašington i prozvali je Vašington avenijom? Ili, zašto bogati svet ne bi uložio višak kapitala u izgradnju «lanaca» najpoznatijih hotela i magistrale Beograd Budva, sa po četiri trake na svakoj strani, kojom bi svi sigurnije i lepše putovali, i konačno, zašto Francuzi, po čijem smo glavnom gradu takođe nazvali jednu od ulica uz Kalemeganski park, finansiranjem izgradnje metroa ne bi učinili da Beograd postane metropola? 21 BELGRADE Prof. Dr. Milija Zecevic, the Founder and Rector of the European University of International Management and Business, has recently been appointed the Commander of The World Order Science Education Culture based in London. This high international recognition has lined up Prof. Dr. Zecevic, as the unique individual in Serbia and Montenegro, among the leading European scholars qualified to participate in the European integration flow realization. In his country, Prof. Dr. Zecevic gives his contribution in the finest and most noble way educating and training generations of young people. Applying the new knowledge in international management and business, the young ones will prove that Belgrade is the world, because Serbia and Montenegro are endowed with natural and human potential that international community respects and wishes to integrate. The very fact was the motive of our discussion with Professor Zecevic. What made you merit the honour of becoming the Commander of The World Order Science Education Culture? The first appearance of foreign, or better, American studies in Serbia and the former Yugoslavia has been tied up to my name. More than 15 years ago, we signed the agreement on international management programme implementation with Manhattan Institute of Management from New York, the U.S. and 11 years ago, Institut Franco-Americain de Management (IFAM) from Paris, France, gave me the exclusive right to organize the programme of BBA and MBA studies in Belgrade. In the last eleven years, there were 700 graduated students and among them two-thirds have been employed in various multinational companies in the United States and Europe, and the rest have joined the most successful companies in Serbia and Montenegro. I would like to point out that the Faculty of International Management was established, according to the Law on University in Serbia, nine years ago and a couple of years ago, The Faculty of European Business as well. There has already been 70 students, out of 80 applicants, enrolled in the first year, and there will be 40 of them at the second year of studies. What employment opportunities do they have after completing the four year studies and what further scientific advances are offered? After completing the four year studies and being awarded the degree of graduate manager in international business, it is absolutely no problem to get a job; 420 students have already acquired the degree. It proves the involvement of our graduates, M.Sc.s and Ph.D.s in the well-known international companies not only in Belgrade but in Paris, Milan, München, London and other business centres as well. They communicate in the leading world languages thanks to intensive studies of two or three foreign languages; their courses are European based meaning that the education system matches the notions of business, marketing, law, culture, literature and other areas of Western industrialized countries. EUM offers specialist master and doctoral studies to the graduate managers wishing to advance and specialize in certain areas. So far, 27 candidates acquired the degree of M.Sc. in international management and 12 the Ph.D. title. Professors and scholars fully employeed at the European University have all the necessary knowledge and academic titles and they also participate in numerous scientific projects. One of the most important projects currently is the International Management as The Factor of Serbia and Montenegro Joining The European Union. There is also another important project we are involved in with German-Yugoslav Business Association and it is about German business influence on economic development in Serbia and Montenegro; we will have the Round table on the topic in Düsseldorf, July 17. Of course, our professors are the authors of quite a number of scientific papers and books. What is the basis of your argument that EUM graduate managers, M.Sc.s and Ph.D.s are qualified for European and world business competition? It is the fact that they acquire their knowledge and skills not only in Belgrade but also in the world scientific centres. IFAM students, for example, attend two years of studies in Belgrade, and the third one in Paris. The lectures are in English and French as the language of host country is compulsory as well. Students of MBA programme regularly attend lectures in Paris, France and the U.S. The cooperation between EUM and its members in Paris (IFAM), New York (M.I.M.), Budapest (Management Consulting Center) and Belgrade Faculty of Construction Management and Faculty of Small Business Management offers ample opportunities for acquiring new knowledge and skills. The best proof of their capability for international business is the fact that many of them build their careers in companies and institutions such as Mercedes Benz, Societe General, Microfinance and Reifeissen Banks, The World Bank and City Bank in New York, National savings, Autocommerce, Benetton, British Airways, Lufthansa, Delta, BBC... The world respects the knowledge and professional skills of our professors and scholars and also those they teach! Nobody can deny our people contribution to the world science and arts. Many of them are in the very top of the world pyramid in various areas of creativity, such as medicine, informatics, mathematical sciences, literature. They have become the members of highly reputable European and American scientific institutions and associations giving their contribution to Serbia and Montenegro joining Europe. The membership in the World Order Science Education Culture established by the European Academy of Informatization, is acquired only by an appointment. I was honoured upon the proposal of London Diplomatic Academy. A candidate must be an eminent person in the given area contributing to internationalization process with at least a hundred of recognized works. All great men in Serbia and Montenegro have given significant contribution to internationalization with their achievements and creativity of universal nature, affirmating the aspect of national among other things. Thus, no matter

22 how much we are declared to be nationalist in the negative sense, it must be stressed that internationalism and nationalism do not exclude each other but contribute to better understanding and notion of nations in the world community. Do you have an answer to that question having in mind that you are a member of respected international associations and in constant contact with influential persons all over the world? I would not like to be pretentious, but as far as I understand the actual developments in the country and the world flow effects on them, the answer to the question is surely with the leaders of great projects in Brussels and Washington D.C. that have existed earlier and obviously are now waiting for the right moment to be implemented. It would probably be the end of political chaos which judging all the signs enters the final stage, but also the end of the transition process, i.e., the necessary social and economic reforms. They should provide the capital owners interested in investing in Serbia and Montenegro, the absolute security investment. However, one must have a strategy and defined superior and short-term objectives. Short-term objectives imply daily politics and elections and our University has chosen superior, strategic objectives. The research of EUM experts have shown that after the introduction of euro as a single European currency, one of the first goals of Serbia and Montenegro is to create a single media space. It would undoubtfully be invaluable investment because of the great American and European media interest, from CNN to BBC and other media in Berlin, London, Paris, Rome. Europe is ready to, conquering media space first, make more significant investment and we must not miss that by all means. Only in that way we will experience the real changes and European integration processes and make Belgrade a new European capital. THE HIGHEST WORLD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Prof. Dr. Milija Zecevic is also a full-time professor of international management, international relations and European business at the European University of International Management and Business, both at graduate and post-graduate studies. He is the President of Yugoslav Association of Management Development and Education and the Federal Government expert for international management and business. His achievements have been awarded with various international recognitions, such as, membership in London Diplomatic Academy and European Council for Business Education, Switzerland. He has been nominated the President of European Association of International Business and Management and Vice-President of American-Yugoslav International Business and Management Association. He is also a member of the American Biographical Institute and is a candidate member of Central European Academy of Science and Arts. The International Biographical Center Cambridge has selected him the International Personality of the Year for 2001, in the area of international management and international relations. CAPITAL SURPLUS TO BE INVESTED IN HOTEL CHAINS IN MONTENEGRO What is the philosophy of international management and business? It is primarily, efficient and effective business operations resulting in profit. The philosophy of international management and business thus, create business awareness that changes business environment. People from abroad often pose a question whether Belgrade is one of the business centers and whether they should invest in the Serbian capital as they do in Prague, Warsaw, Budapest and other centers in the transition countries my answer is always Belgrade is also the world and Serbia and Montenegro are rich with natural and human potential, where investment should be made as soon as possible. Why, for example, wouldn t the Americans invest in George Washington Street in Belgrade and name it Washington Avenue? Or, why wouldn t wealthy individuals invest their capital surplus in building chains of well-known hotels and highway Belgrade-Budva so everyone would travel better and safer. And finally, why wouldn t the French, and one of Belgrade street along the Kalemegdan Park is named after their capital, fund the subway construction and make Belgrade a metropole? 23 Evropski univerzitet za internacionalni menadžment i biznis, sa sedištem u Beogradu, ovih dana je dobio još jedan razlog da se podiči svojim u svetu cenjenim programima i postignućima u oblasti razvoja i unapređenja međunarodnih (poslovnih) odnosa. Njegov osnivač, vlasnik i rektor, prof. dr Milija Zečević, izabran je 17. januara za člana Akademskog senata Internacionalne diplomatske akademije, u kojem su, pored njega, još četvorica istaknutih naučnika iz oblasti kompjuterskih nauka (Eduard Evreinov, Belgija), energetike (Teodor Mađar, Rumunija), medicine (Jevgenij Ivanovič Sokolov, Rusija) i prava (Vasil Popa, Rumunija). Za svoj stručni, inovativni rad, dr Zečević je stekao mnogobrojna međunarodna priznanja: pored ostalih, Američkog biografskog instituta, Zečević (treći sleva) na svečanosti u Madridu Internacionalnog biografskog centra iz Kembridža i Evropske akademije za informatizaciju iz Brisela, a najnovije - najviše zvanje Svetskog reda za nauku, obrazovanje i kulturu - dodeljeno mu je novembra prošle godine u Madridu za "doprinos međunarodnim odnosima, biznisu i diplomatiji". - Na povezivanju ljudi, naroda, država i kontinenata, u promovisanju ideje o stvaranju ujedinjene Evrope i ujedinjenog sveta, nije dovoljno da se angažuju državnici, političari i diplomate. Potreban je i entuzijazam istaknutih pojedinaca, naučnika i umetnika, kao i stručnih i obrazovnih institucija. Svetski red za nauku, obrazovanje i kulturu upravo je, pod pokroviteljstvom Ujedinjenih nacija, i osnovan sa ciljem da nagradi ličnosti iz ove tri oblasti, koje su najviše doprinele tom "svet je jedan" idealu. Osnivanjem Evropskog univerziteta, ja sam želeo da promovišem ideju globalne poslovne zajednice, u kojoj će mladi ljudi sa novom poslovnom filozofijom graditi novu poslovnu sredinu i bolje međunarodne odnose u celini. Ta nova poslovna svest zasnovana je na principima "etičkog biznisa" koji podržava globalizaciju, ali ne i dominaciju (jedne države, jednog pogleda na svet, interesa jedne strane - recimo velikih multinacionalnih kompanija) i koji je usmeren na jačanje mira i blagostanja u svetu. Povezivanje tržišta bi u tom smislu trebalo da vodi celokupnom unapređenju poslovanja i podizanju standarda svih ljudi. To je ono čemu želimo da naučimo naše studente - objašnjava u intervjuu "Politici" dr Zečević. Pored njega, zvanje "velikog doktora" u Madridu stekla su još petorica istaknutih pojedinaca, a među dosadašnjim nosiocima ovog zvanja su i Kofi Anan, generalni sekretar OUN, kao i jedan dobitnik Nobelove nagrade (za hemiju godine), Ilja Prigogin. Svetski red za nauku, obrazovanje i kulturu, uz podršku OUN, osnovali su Međunarodni univerzitet "Albert Švajcer" iz Madrida, Evropska akademija za informatizaciju iz Brisela i Londonska diplomatska akademija.
