It may be a relaxing trip to the beach, a wine tasting with sweeping views of the vineyard, a guided tour of a medieval castle, or any number of other options that bring the destination to life. When you select a shore tour (also known as a shore excursion), aside from having a great experience, you want the peace of mind knowing you are working with a reliable tour operator and that you will return to the ship on time. 18 OVERLAND TOURS To experience a destination more fully, you may wish to book an overland tour. These overnight trips enable you to more fully experience local sights, culture and cuisine.
