I thought these might be of some interest to you because of the detail of the floating dock and catwalk. Both photos were taken during the War, but I am confident that this wharf work was in place in As a point of interest, the aircraft "Berwick" we believe to be the plane used by Winston Churchill on his visit to Botwood. Last evening the local CBC television station ran the article of your visit and the flying boat era of Botwood. Our Heritage Society was quite pleased with the media coverage and especially the fact that their errors were small.
