2 ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: OVERVIEW: Sleeps 14 in 7 staterooms. Crew accommodations include 14 berths, 7 heads and 7 showers. The Captain's quarters are separate. Vessel Commentary: With a 60m overall length SLIPSTREAM is the largest motor yacht ever launched by CMN shipyard (France), and the second unit of a new line of Motor-Yachts developed by the shipyard in cooperation with Andrew Winch Designs. The Owner's representative for this project was Mark Tanner from Burgess. SLIPSTREAM features streamlined shapes and luxurious interiors. Andrew Winch Designs developed a comtemporary interior, influenced by the Arts and Crafts from the Pacific North West and Australia. The yacht is decorated with refinement in a neo-art Deco style combining dark ebony joinery and red leather panelling. SLIPSTREAM can accommodate up to 14 Guests in one Owner's suite, one VIP cabin and five Guests' cabins; The yacht offers over 500 sqm of living areas and 200 sqm of outdoor decks. The yacht features a new arrangement of the sun-deck with spa, sun-pads, bar with BBQ and al-fresco dining area. A panoramic open/close dining room has been added on the aft bridge deck. The VIP suite boasts a private foredeck with sweeping ocean views. The yacht is equipped with a cutting-edge home entertainment centre with video-on-demand. SLIPSTREAM has a dramatic appearance with her black hull and her metallic-grey superstructure. Andrew Winch Designs have designed a yacht which echoes the beauty of the sea. In the windows and gleaming surfaces of Slipstream, the sky, the land and the ocean produce singular reflections. Master Stateroom, Main Deck: The Owner's suite - forward on the main deck - begins with a study featuring a cream leather-covered slab desk and Mastermind chair. The bedroom is highly dramatic with the red ochre and black being used again for the bed, the circular inset above it and the woven leather rear wall. Both side extensions to the room are the complete opposite having cool, plain colours and being flooded with light from the large windows on either side. The two bathrooms make use of a selection of marbles. Hers is larger and includes a bath tub as well as a shower. A short flight of stairs from the bedroom lead to a semi-circular observation lounge in which a large, raised sofa offers horizon to horizon views in a calm and peaceful setting. VIP Stateroom, Upper Deck: The VIP cabin, neatly fitted in on the port side of the upper deck features a French window allowing one to step out onto a small private deck with room for a small table and two chairs. This deck is actually an extension of the Portuguese bridge that surrounds the pilot house but is given privacy by a frosted glass door. The overside views from this cabin are exceptional. Guest Stateroom: Four guest cabins are grouped on the lower deck nearly amidships and consist of two large doubles, one small double and a convertible twin/double. Flat panels and plain, light colours are used to keep them light and airy but not without an element of drama from wall panels of gouged dark wood. The two larger cabins have tubs in their bathroom and others, showers. Main Salon: The full beam formal living and dining area is divided by fixed screen bulkheads of rich woven leather framed in the ripple plane veneered columns concealing sliding louvred privacy doors. The tall windows with low sills bathe this area in dappled light through Venetian blinds. Lounge, Upper Deck: A huge panoramic upper salon which doubles as a cinema lounge opens into the glazed inside/outside upper dining area. Exercise Room: The upper deck gym equipped with cycle and running machines as well as free weights has magnificient views from panoramic windows. Complete with an en-suite shower room, it is designed to convert into an extra cabin with two fold away Pullman berths. Pilothouse: The wheelhouse arrangement includes semi close radio room/ship office and a sofa for the Guests. Sun Deck: The 22 m long sun deck includes sun pads (fore sun-pad around Spa, aft sun-pad protected from the wind), al-freso dining table under 'targa' top, bar and BBQ, day-head and exterior shower. It is protected by two sliding windbreakers glass doors and glass side deck windscreens.
