8 Queen Mary 2. Welcome to the most famous ocean liner in the world. Her elegance and scale are like no other. Encompassed within her graceful lines are fifteen restaurants and bars, five swimming pools, a fullsized theater, a casino, Canyon Ranch SpaClub, a 3D cinema, a full scale planetarium and the largest dance floor at sea. If you love fresh ocean air, there are acres of deck space and as on all three Cunard Queens a traditional promenade deck that encircles the ship. She even has kennels to accommodate our fourlegged guests in style on Transatlantic Crossings. Queen Mary 2 unveiled the next chapter of Cunard innovation and investment in June 2016, when she received a significant refit that introduced enhanced interior designs and guest experiences as well as new Britannia Single and Club Balcony staterooms. Our youngest Queen at sea, Queen Elizabeth s grace and Art Deco design have won her many accolades and made her a firm favorite with guests. The heyday of Hollywood glamour is instantly evoked by her elegant wood paneling, gleaming chandeliers, marble flooring and beautiful decorative touches. For relaxation, Queen Elizabeth offers wide open deck space, the Garden Lounge a large conservatory, based on the famous hothouses of Kew Gardens as well as a unique Games Deck, where you can try your hand at a game of croquet or paddle tennis on the middle of the ocean. 10 Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria is similar in size and layout to her sister ship, Queen Elizabeth, but with her own distinct personality and feel. Her classical décor has an Edwardian elegance warm-toned and plush executed with Cunard s hallmark flair. Fans of Queen Victoria and they are legion often remark on her unusual coziness. As Cunard continues to invest in the quality of your experience, Queen Victoria s refit in May and June 2017 introduced enhanced interior design and several new features. Britannia Club. The introduction of 43 new Britannia Club staterooms in prime locations on decks seven and eight feature all the hallmarks of Cunard style and comfort. Britannia Club is enhanced with premium balconies, a nine-pillow concierge menu and the freedom to dine whenever you choose between 6.30pm and 9.00pm in the new Britannia Club restaurant. This restaurant is located on deck two. Grand Suite (Q1) Britannia s. All Britannia staterooms feature newly designed carpets and soft furnishings, taking inspiration from Cunard s heritage and bold color palettes. For extra comfort, tea and coffee making facilities and new flat screen HD televisions are available in all staterooms. Grill Suites. All grades of Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites received an interior refresh during Queen Victoria s refit, to maximize space while ensuring unsurpassed levels of elegance and comfort. In the Grand Suites, a clever configuration of furniture maximizes the comfort and spacious appeal of this accommodation, creating an even more desirable sanctuary or space to entertain. Britannia Club (A1) Bars and Lounges. Making the most of Queen Victoria s new aft extension, the Lido sun deck has been transformed with enhanced deck furniture, additional shaded areas, entertainment and al fresco dining options. The Chart Room During the day, a new Chart Room serves light breakfast and lunch dishes, specialty teas, illy coffee and decadent Godiva chocolate treats. As day turns to night, this elegant venue serves the perfect cocktail to begin your evening on board. Cunard has also introduced a gin and fizz themed menu to the Midships Lounge. This offers wine, prosecco, cava and champagne alongside premium gins and spirits, all blended to create fresh and inspiring cocktails. 12 Find the perfect restaurant in the middle of nowhere. If anything sums up the freedom of your voyage it is the array of places to eat, from healthy to hearty, from light bites to haute cuisine. Your only challenge is deciding what to order, when so much catches the eye. You will find classics like tender lobster or melt-in-the-mouth chateaubriand. Often what is on offer reflects where you are in the world, as our chefs make use of fresh local ingredients. Whether you are dining in the Britannia Restaurant, the Princess Grill or Queens Grill, everything is beautifully presented and offered with a discerning selection of wines that complement your choice perfectly. You will also find many delicious vegetarian dishes, and that we will happily cater for most special dietary requirements. On board all three ships, buffet-style dining is available throughout the day and until late evening. For those more informal lunches, the ever-popular Golden Lion pub welcomes you with traditional gastro-pub fare. Dining out is always an option. For a modest supplement, you can enjoy a change of culinary scenery anytime from your main restaurant, and dine out. By evening, all ships offer alternative dining options. These include Italian, Indian, Pan Asian, Mexican and American Smokehouse menus, served in the Kings Court or Lido restaurants. The Verandah restaurant serves French specialities during the day and evening. At dinner, it also offers an acclaimed multiplecourse tasting menu an unforgettable culinary experience for which it is truly worth skipping lunch. 10

24 The night, as they say, is yours. Evenings on board offer so many pleasures, including deciding where to dine, and wondering whether to dance, mingle or enjoy a show. Then, of course, there is the fun of dressing for the occasion. Yes, we invite guests to dress for dinner, and we think you will love it. Formal nights usually involve a themed Ball and account for about a third of your days on board. Many of our guests sail with Cunard precisely because they love a reason to step out in style. For the other evenings the dress is smart yet relaxed think jackets but no ties, and cocktail dresses. If you prefer to dress more casually, you are always welcome to dine in the Lido restaurants or Kings Court and to unwind for the evening in the Carinthia Lounge, Winter Garden, Garden Lounge, Yacht Club or G32. Every evening is an event. On each ship, the full-sized Royal Court Theatre is the setting for Broadway-caliber shows. Some nights feature singers or comedians. At other times, you might catch an abridged classical drama or a spectacular musical. All fares include accommodations as booked, onboard meals* and entertainment. Fares are per person based on double occupancy and are cruise only, excluding air and transfers. Fares do not include Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses, gratuities, CunardCare travel protection or incidental charges such as laundry, bar expenses, spa and salon treatments, shore excursions, etc. Can guests with disabilities travel? All guests requiring specific assistance, facilities or equipment on board, or wishing to bring such equipment on board, must advise Cunard Line at the time of booking and are requested to complete a questionnaire after booking to ensure we have all the information we need to cater adequately for your requirements. If you need to bring a wheelchair or mobility scooter on board with you, it is essential that you let us know at the time of booking or as soon as the need is known. Any guests requiring the use of a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other aids to mobility must provide their own. For the safety of everyone on board and the ship, all wheelchairs, scooters and other aids to mobility, as is the case with all other guest possessions, must be stored inside your stateroom when not in use. Failure to comply with this important safety rule may mean you will be disembarked and refused future travel. A part-time wheelchair user traveling in a non-wheelchair accessible stateroom must bring a collapsible wheelchair to ensure it can safely fit through the stateroom door and be accommodated in the stateroom. It is not possible to make structural changes to the stateroom layout. Cunard Line reserves the right to require guests who have booked a wheelchairaccessible stateroom without legitimate reason to move, at their own expense, if necessary. Mobility scooters will only be permitted on board if guests have booked into a wheelchair accessible stateroom, or a suite, as these are the only types of accommodation where mobility scooters can safely be stored. The minimum door width of suites is 53 cm (21 in). The minimum door width of the wheelchair accessible staterooms is 80 cm (31 in). At the time of booking, please let us know if you intend on bringing a mobility scooter with you, and we will in turn provide you with a questionnaire for completion to ensure that the accommodation you have booked is appropriate. Please note that our wheelchair accessible staterooms are strictly reserved for guests who are bringing wheelchairs or mobility scooters or who have a requirement for the adapted facilities offered by these staterooms. A ship is not always the easiest environment for using a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Although our crew is helpful, they are only able to provide limited assistance to help you in moving around the ship. For this reason, and in order to ensure the safety of the guests, the ship and all others on board, we recommend that guests with disabilities who require personal assistance in the activities of daily living, including pushing a wheelchair or communication support, be accompanied by personal assistants/traveling companions to provide these services. Blind/Visually Impaired guests are recommended to travel with companions who can help them get their bearings and assist them both on board and ashore. Our crew can provide limited arm assistance and information or directions, but we cannot provide sustained or longterm assistance. Do you hold emergency drills on board? Cunard ships are among the safest afloat. An emergency drill for guests will be held before the ship sails from her embarkation port on each cruise. Attendance at these drills is mandatory in accordance with International Maritime Law. In your stateroom, you will find a black folder containing safety information which describes the emergency procedures and designates the route for the guest assembly station to which you have been assigned. In addition to actively participating in the drills, you are urged to study this information carefully and familiarize yourself with the use of life jackets, which are provided for every guest. 94 General information. 92 Responsibility Transportation of guests and baggage on Cunard is governed by the Cunard Passage Contract, a copy of which will be included with your preliminary documents and is also available upon request. The Passage Contract represents the entire agreement between Cunard and the guest. It is important that you carefully read the entire Passage Contract, as it sets out the rights and responsibilities of Cunard and the guest. Cunard shall have the right to cancel or alter in any way any scheduled sailing or itinerary which, in its sole judgment and discretion, is justified for any reason and to do so without liability for damage or for any loss to guests. Cunard also reserves the right, in the event of a full-ship charter or for any other reason, to cancel reservations and bookings whether or not a deposit or full payment has been received. In such an event, Cunard s only liability will be to refund to guests the amount it has received. The guest is responsible for arriving at the respective ports on time for embarkation and for joining the vessel at its next port of call if, for any reason, a scheduled sailing is missed. Cunard reserves the right to refuse or discontinue passage to anyone when, in Cunard s sole judgment, it would be considered a risk to the guest s own safety, well-being and health or a risk to the safety, well-being, comfort and enjoyment of any other guest or crewmember. Deposits A 25% deposit is required within three days of reservation or sooner, as specified by Cunard for voyages less than 31 nights. For voyages 31 nights or longer, 15% is due at time of booking if booked by 221 days or more prior to sailing and an additional 15% at 220 days prior to sailing or 30% is due at time of booking if booked 220 days or fewer prior to sailing. s are subject to cancellation if required deposit amount is not received within the specified option period. Balance of payment Full payment for all cruises shorter than 31 nights must be received by Cunard no later than 90 days prior to sailing. Final payment is due at 120 days prior to sailing on all voyages 31 nights or longer. Reservations made between 90 and 31 days prior to sailing require full payment within 24 hours of booking for voyages less than 31 nights. Hotel packages are subject to cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the hotel package between 90 to 61 days prior to the first day of booked hotel stay and 100% of the total cost of the hotel package between 60 and the first day of the booked hotel stay. Land tour packages will be assessed a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost of the land tour package when cancelled at 90 days or less to the first day of the land tour. If non-cruise components only are cancelled, the guest will be responsible for any cancellation charges imposed by the airlines, other transportation carriers, tour and ground operators or hotel properties. Refunds All refund requests pertaining to cruise, land and air are subject to final review by Cunard. Partial use of cruise, airfare, hotel and land extension does not qualify a guest for a refund. Onboard Credit If you are due to receive Onboard Credit this will be applied to your account on the first night of your cruise. Onboard Credit cannot be used for any of the following: cash back, casino/gambling charges, foreign exchange, any medical services/prescriptions, charities or for payment of International Visas. This also applies to any gift credits that may be applied to your account. CunardCare We recommend that all guests purchase some form of travel protection that includes cancellation and interruption coverages as well as medical expenses and emergency evacuation benefits. For non-u.s. citizens or non-u.s. legal residents disembarking in a U.S. port, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires you to provide your address while in the United States after your cruise.
