In brokerage alone, fourteen yachts were sold during this period with an average length of 133 Ft. (40.5m). These results are unmatched by any other brokerage over this period, demonstrating once again that Moran Yacht & Ship is the world leader in the sale and charter of quality yachts. Highlighting these sales is the 203 Ft. (62m) Feadship RASSELAS, the 182 Ft. (55.5m) Feadship ISSANA, the 164 Ft. (50m) Westport Harmony and the 147 Ft. (45m) Feadship MADSUMMER. The sheer quantity of sales by Moran Yacht & Ship in 2014 might indicate a lowering of inventory or listings. 8 KISMET IN LONDON The 312 Ft. (95.2m) KISMET arrived in London this Fall and left onlookers speachless. In October, KISMET cruised up the Thames to the Tower Bridge to avail herself to the world in London. She hosted an incredibly decadent party for over 250 guests of the owner including celebrities, athletes and dignitaries. Built for an experienced owner by the Moran Yacht & Ship new construction team, KISMET is the replacement for award-winning 223 Ft. (68m) Lurssen that she was named after. With striking exterior design by Espen Oeino and elaborate interior design by Reymond Langton Design. She features accommodations for 12 guests in 6 opulent staterooms with a private owners deck, full-service spa, unique winter garden, full swimming pool and helicopter landing capabilities. Originally established nearly a century ago, this shipyard has been passed down from generation to generation, maintaining the dedication to quality craftsmanship and a naval tradition that has served the Hakvoort owner s so well. The Moran Yacht & Ship New Construction Team has been involved in a number of notable projects at Hakvoort over the past 25 years, such as JEMASA, ALLEGRIA (ex. FLAMINGO DAZE), APOSTROPHE, as well as two vessels currently under construction, GOLDEN AGE and ZEUS. Each project has come to epitomize the Dutch standard of craftsmanship in the yachting industry. In 2014, APOSTROPHE won the Showboats Design Award for best full displacement yacht between 30 and 60 meters. GOLDEN AGE and ZEUS will be the biggest yachts built at the iconic shipyard to date, and will certainly be standard bearers moving forward. GOLDEN AGE, due for delivery in 2015, will feature and exterior and interior from the drawing boards of Sinot Yacht Design. The design will be a classic yet contemporary style and she will accommodate 14 guests in 7 well appointed cabins. ZEUS is due for delivery in 2017 and will feature a masculine, explorer style exterior by Rene van der Velden and an interior by Sinot Yacht Design with accommodation for 12 guests in 6 staterooms. APOSTROPHE 130 (39.7m) Hakvoort Both GOLDEN AGE and ZEUS represent the next step for the Hakvoort shipyard and it is our opinion that they will certainly become iconic classics in the custom yacht-building world.
