Most of these tents are not free standing and therefore need pegs to hold them up. Great for solo hiking and travelling as well as cycle touring. Price range around $149 - $299 Backpack Tents/ Canoe Camp Tents These tents will be 2, 3 or 4 person in size and have a weight range of 5-10 lbs. Suitable to split up and backpack with and are easy to throw in the canoe. Most come with vestibules, which are covered porches on the front, back or sides of the tents. Price range will be $179-$400. Car Camping Tents Some of these tents overlap with the canoe camping tents. Weight range will be 10 lbs and up to as high as 25 lbs.
