33 GUIDELINES - BAGS HOT SPOTS The Hot Spot is a stop-point placed along the main path leading in to each product category area. The goal is to draw the attention of customers, make them stop and start to shop. The Hot Spot should be highlighting each prod-uct category area with outfits ready to wear or special offers of the week. This is a great spot in which to merchandising bags! 33

34 GUIDELINES - BAGS HOT SPOTS - TABLES Tables inspire the customer to view product in a different way. You can show an outfit combination, which can lead to an impulse buy with additional sales opportunity. Use different folding techniques to create interest, add accessories to complete the look. You can also put a bust on the table or a mannequin next to the table, showing the complete outfit. 34

36 GUIDELINES - BAGS WINDOWS Create a strong colour story and nice mannequin groups within the window for greater impact. HH bags always colour coordinate with the apparel and are essential for telling a story. Remember that a lot of black in the window is hard for consumers to see. So don t use it even though its your bestselling jacket. So avoid displaying black even though it may be your best selling color. 36
