21 in traditional craftmanship. Copper is our most exclusive material for front doors and apartment doors. It has a timeless elegance and a strong durability. The copper is hammered and moulded by our experienced workers, who have the essential expertise for working with such an exclusive material. You can choose from a range of copper colour and lacquer combinations for your very own copper front or apartment door. Over the years we have perfected the method of sealing the copper so that the door can withstand climate and weather changes without losing its natural glow. With the Biffar 23 and 560 door construction underneath, the copper door has the same sturdy frame and contains all typical safety features of a Biffar door. 21

30 Bad for burglars, good for you safety by Biffar. With a Biffar door you can relax! If you need high security, you are in good hands. All Biffar locking systems meet resistance class 1 requirements at the minimum and our apartment door actually resistance class 2 requirements. Security is a core value at Biffar. Our designs, the materials we use and our manufacturing technology is concentrated on security. Thankfully, with a Biffar door your apartment will never look like this! Many Biffar door constructions can be fitted up to resistance class 3 (RC = resistance class) or RC4. These doors even resist heavy tools. The high security of our doors has been verified by the independent ift-rosenheim institute. We developed our own Biffar lock and many features such as the swing bolt, safe bolts and double bearing hinges. In order to manufacture a door which reaches our requirements and keeps your family safe. To enhance the protection of your entrance door even more, Biffar offers the automatic Biffar lock. And to give you even more options when it comes to access control, Biffar has teamed up with well-known partners for electronic equipment. 30

To ensure high rigidity, Biffar uses very strong anchor points and the corner joints are seamlessly and invisibly welded together. Biffar has developed special stabilization mechanisms so that your front door looks light and elegant but is extremely strong. A Biffar aluminium door is weatherproof and can tolerate extreme weather conditions due to the thermal separation. Aluminium is easy to clean, and our powder coating makes sure that the colour of your door will not fade. This basic security is different in every Biffar construction and can be defined in standardized resistance classes (Resistance Classes, RC). Your apartment door should not only look good and blend in with your apartment: its main task is to keep you safe. To ensure that, we use a core out of block glued wood. The typical Biffar security features as the swing bolt and the safe bolts have a strong grip in the aluminium frame. With this design your door will function perfectly for many years. You only need one key to open and close your entrance door with its whole locking system. Burglar resistance all-round. On request you can add an additional swing bolt on top of your door to reach ZR3 and ZR5. All Biffar doors are fitted with a copy save security cylinder. Independent from the security class you can choose to install a peephole, if needed. 35

36 Electric access cont one ste The electronic motorcylinder This motorcylinder by EVVA is installed on the inside handle and closes/opens the swing bolts automatically (up to 3 swing bolts, ZR2). It combines the features of the swing bolts with an easy opening solution. Thus also children can serve the motorcylinder without a problem. This system can be steered by a pusher or other keyless features. The fingerprint With this biometrical access control through fingerprint, you get another option for a keyless access to your home. Since this system is based on the clear characteristics of your unique fingerprint, it is the safest identification procedure on the market. A fingerprint by Ekey can be installed on the door or on the wall. 36

37 rol for Biffar doors p ahead. The code lock (ELT & ELT Proximity) You can either open the door with your personal code and/or use the chip key (ELT). You can change any of the 255 possible different codes any time you like with your programming key. As another alternative you can choose an ELT Proximity code lock which also can be used with a magnetic access card. The keypad This code lock by Ekey combines a keyless access controle with minimalistic design. It has up to 99 different 4 to 8-digit programmable number sequences, which are easy to program and to delete. The backlit, easy-to-use glass touchpad blends seamlessly into the door leaf or frame but can also be mounted to the wall. 37

38 Cold, heat or noise, moisture and dust it won t get through a Biffar Door. No chance for the cold. Biffar villa doors prove that the more attention you pay to the inner life of your door, the better the thermal insulation. The Biffar 565 achieves the best U-value within the Biffar series. Very often this thermal insulation is more effective than the surrounding brick wall. Biffar doors are imperable. They keep out not only the cold but also noise, smell, dust, heat and moisture. The double seal surrounding the frame and sills keep every unwanted intruder outside. Our Biffar 23 apartment door mutes noises up to 29db and has sound insulation class 1. We are able to produce apartment doors with sound insulation class 3 (37db). Biffars thermal insulation. The inner and outer aluminium sections are connected by non-conducting synthetic joints. The inner profile is not in direct connection with the outer profile. This innovation avoids that heat or cold can pass through the door. This seperations also balances the different expansion rates between the outside and inside sections. The moveable joints absorb the temperature and ease the tension, caused by the changing climate. The doors will not warp and the so-called Bi-Metal-Effect is prevented. 38

39 Closed in seconds the Biffar automatic lock. Biffar has developed a lock (ZRA) which locks automatically when the door is being closed. Not only the latch guard is released but the upper and lower swing bolt are activated. Your home is secured by only closing the door! With the ZRA you will not forget to lock your door anymore. You can rest easy each time you leave home. The Biffar automatic lock can be used with various constructions. Your Biffar specialist can tell you whether your door meets the necessary technical requirements for a ZRA lock. 39
