36 THE MALIBU PEDELEC GARAGE: HANDLEBAR HEIGHTS OF UP TO 125 CM WITH LOW QUEEN-SIZE BED AT THE SAME TIME (Model 440 QB) Having problems fitting your big bike, Pedelec or scooter into the rear garage of your motorhome? No problem with Malibu. Nor with queen-size bed model 440 QB. Malibu has developed an innovation specially for the requirements of the queen-size bed models. This is how it s done: Briefly swivel up the rear bed from the outside with your hand, slide the bike into the garage using the optional push-in system, lower the bed again. The Malibu trick: A lowered area in the floor accommodates the front wheel. The lowered area in the garage floor and the underside of the bed which can be swivelled upwards create a loading height of up to 125 cm in the garage, which is otherwise 112 cm in height. Everything securely lashed down ready to go. The rear bed in the bedroom therefore remains at its low, conveniently accessible entrance height. Just another one of the many great Malibu ideas.
