2 Castaway range... The Compass Castaway was designed for the discerning motorhome owner who appreciates distinctive elegance and tasteful styling. As you will discover with the new Castaway range, every aspect of the development has been inspired by an uncompromising approach to exceeding the expectations of the fortunate few. Built on the new 2.8-litre Hdi Turbo Diesel Boxer chassis from Peugeot for sheer driving pleasure and performance, the seek lines of the Castaway are accentuated by the steamlined over cab and newly introduced low profile shape. Chrome edged clean blue graphics and smart alloy wheels define the stylish appearance. As soon a you step inside, you will notice how warm, spacious and welcoming the new Castaway really is and how we ve paid attention to every detail. Upholstered in luxurious Modena Tapesty chenille fabrics, co-ordinating cushions and pelmets with complementary Terracotta removable carpeting. A classic look that is both light and tasteful during the day, rich and cosy in the evening. Soft gold positive push fittings adorn the Italian mode Toronto Maple veneered cabinet doors to complete the beautiful interior looks of the Castaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with an Explorer 550W microwave in its own specially designed tambour unit. Below this you ll find a stylish yet practical cream coloured sink and hob, by Spinflow with matching wash bowl, set into a green verdigris laminated worktop. All covered over by our unique Chinchilla glass worktops - the patterned surface on these hinged glass covers is specially designed to be used as a cutting board surface...simple but effective. 3 The RB is our rear bathroom Castaway. The interior is open and spacious and has one if the largest motorhome washrooms in its class. Equipped with a curvaceous shower cubicle with its own duckboard, separate Thetford electric operated toilet, and a well-designed hand basin vanity unit. Storage is provided by a large illuminated wardrobe with integral shelving and handy drawers beneath with lots of other useful storage space. Even with all this there is still plenty of room to dress and pamper yourself in complete privacy and comfort. An L shaped kitchen comes complete with Domestic s tall 6505 Fridge/Freezer unit and lots of work surface space. 4 CASTAWAY RG The most innovative and award winning feature in the RG is our rear garage. The rear garage is large enough to take a scooter or the families bicycles and is cleverly situated beneath a full width fixed double bed at the rear of the vehicle. The remote controlled electric rise and fall of the rear bed by 4 quiet 12V electric motors allows you to have variable heights for storage space on the move or maximum sleeping space on site. A large external door, a bike ramp and anchor points are all provided for ease of access and safe storage space in transit. The generously sized kitchen is fully equipped with a high specification Spiniflo gas oven and 550W microwave and lots of storage space for food, utensils and crockery. The central washroom and toilet is compact yet very practical with its folding shower doors and duckboard fitted as standard. We have designed this layout to integrate the rear garage, yet still make full use of the internal space. A comfortable lounge, ideal for relaxing in comfort, converts easily into a second double bed. 5 Designed and engineered by our highly experienced development team, the Compass Castaway FB is an uncompromising fixed bed motorhome. The en-suite shower /toilet room and corner vanity sink and mirror in the bedroom offer plenty of space for two people to wash or shower with ease. There is also a host of useful shelves and storage for towels, toiletries and cosmetics. The sleeping area can be completely screened off from the rest of the living space, using a clever sliding door and blind system. A built in, convenient TV shelf in the tambour unit at the foot of the bed is perfect for those lazy weekend mornings. The convenient central kitchen is fully equipped to cope with the preparation of light snacks or a full Sunday lunch using the illuminated double shelf oven. The lounge provides ample seating and dining space, especially with the front cab seats turned to face the living area.
