10 QUALITY IS NO ACCIDENT Diagonal reinforcement the basis for REHAU garden hoses Diagonal reinforcement technology: For REHAU's diagonal reinforcement used, two textile reinforcing layers running counter to one another are applied to the inner hose layer at the correct thread angle of 54 (neutral angle) in order to achieve an equilibrium of forces. The spacing of the individual reinforced fibres and their strength have a significant impact upon the pressure resistance. Customers satisfaction is important to us, which is why we offer the highest quality and safety for garden hoses with this reinforcement technology. Unlike diagonal reinforcement, with mesh reinforcement the inner layer is lined with mesh lines and rows, which do not balance out the various forces. This causes the hose geometry to become unstable as more pressure is applied, and the hose diameter increases, twists along its axis and becomes distorted. This leads to a limited burst pressure and a shorter service life. 10

Sprinkler hose The surface of the REHAU sprinkler hose contains numerous, small incisions, through which fine jets of water emerge, sprinkling germinating crops or seedlings. This is made possible thanks to an even pressure distribution aided by the three-tube system. Soaker hose The selective and economic watering of rowsof plants and plant borders is the special area of application for REHAU s soaker hose made of recycled material. Thanks to its drop-by-drop release, water savings of up to 70 % can be achieved. Drip hose The REHAU drip hose can be used both above and below the ground and ensures that an equal amount of water is released to the plants.
