Officers made contact with a homeless person at the train station and after searching him and identifying him they located such plate. Amtrak wants to know why a homeless person has it, plate does not return stolen/missing. Ofc. Birnie has made contact with owner and she reports that they noticed the plate missing a week or so ago. Will go forward with entering plate as stolen. Amtrak Police will be locating the plate, they will be investigating the person of interest further.
