Ngā Māhuri Kapa Haka Hui Whānau: Tuesday 20 th of October 2015, 5:00pm - Kura Teina All details pertaining to the trip will be discussed. This is a great opportunity to listen to what we will be doing and to ask any questions you may have. We expect that each child/ whānau attending the trip have an adult whānau member present at the hui. If you are unable to attend, you need to let us know as soon as possible. Fees: $200 per student, $300 for 2 or more students. Fees are due in by the 23 rd of October. Those whānau who are staying with us, an invoice for your accommodation was sent out to you at the end of Term 3. Invoices need to be paid in full by the 30 th October or sooner Ngā Māhuri Kapa Haka Dress Rehearsal Thursday 22 nd of October 2015 Time: 5:30pm doors open, 6:00pm performance This is an in-house event, for Kura whānau only. There will be no recording of the performance. Those tamariki in the roopu will remain at Kura. Parents must pick their child/dren up after the performance. KĀKAHU Any questions, contact your child s kaiako. On Friday afternoon Tau 1-2, and Te Kohanga reo o Te Rangi Aniwaniwa were invited to watch a show presented by the Duffy Book team. The purpose of the show is to promote reading awareness, demonstrate how exciting reading can be, and the many benefits of reading. The Duffy Team had Staff and students captivated and entertained, as they took us on a journey in the life of a young student who discovered her imagination through reading. The team were dynamic in their presentation, speaking three languages, English, Māori, and Samoan. An amazing experience for our tamariki. Kākahu Hākinakina - Classes swim Monday-Wednesday and Friday. All classes are also practising for cross-country. All tamariki will need a t-shirt, shorts, running shoes if possible and a water bottle. Kura Uniform - Some tamariki are coming to Kura in no Kura uniform at all. Parents send a note explaining why or ring and inform the Tari ( ). Grooming - Please ensure tamariki come to school in clean uniform, faces washed and hair brushed. Please make sure you name your children's clothing/towels/uniforms. It is difficult to locate lost uniforms when they are not named. If your child/ren have someone else s name on their uniform, please return them to the kaiako. Feel free to come in to kura to look for uniforms and clothes.
