As you can see, he was quite successful to the great enjoyment of all. 1

4 FROM THE BACK SEAT As another successful season of FABA fly-ins comes to a close, I find myself already looking forward to the schedule and the aviating it will bring. Standing on the runway edge at Patch of Blue watching the bi-winged beasts alight on grass, one after the other, you can't help but feel the nostalgia. What a great way to spend a Saturday! As a club, we have a phenomenal membership base, a healthy treasury, and a collection of aircraft that would make any museum proud. But the museums will have to wait, as we continue to enjoy our flying machines the way they should be enjoyed...airborne and with others. Look for some breakfast fly-outs this summer, (dutch treat), or plan one yourself. Larry Robinson will send out the notifications. Just let him know. Many thanks to all the organizers and volunteers of this season's meetings. We couldn't do it without all of you. If you would like to host a meeting next season, please contact Larry and make it known. As always, the backbone(wing spar?) of the club is Larry Robinson. He has tirelessly and selflessly given his time and energy to keep the club cruising along as well as it has. If anyone would like to volunteer for FABA officer positions for next year, send a note to Larry and he will put you on the short list. No birth certificate necessary. Have fun this summer, fly often, share your biplane with others, and in the words of Larry Robinson..."if you are not going to fly your biplane, sell it to someone who will".
