ECUADOR DEPOSIT Available options are quoted without reservations. The best method if you are currently traveling in Ecuador, you can deposit your payment directly to our local Produbanco account. 18 Your booking from start to finish STAGE 1 Inquiry & Advice Tell us about the requirements you have for your travel. Our local experts offer advice & suggest tours & services that match your criteria. Once you settle for the tour & services you need, we move to stage 2. STAGE 2 Personal Details You will be directed to an on-line form, for personal details to be submitted per person. Passport copies will also be required per person. These can be provided via or the cloud for download. STAGE 3 Payments We will provide you with payment methods available for your booking, your trip advisor will provide specific details & instruction for your chosen method. Your invoice will reflect your initial or full deposit. STAGE 4 Collect Documents Travel documents are provided via (cloud based documents) 15 days prior to departure. Your trip advisor will provide you with all travel documents, links & instructions for your travel. See something you like? Avoid disappointment, & spaces running out. Allow us to place a hold for you. A hold has no cost or commitment involved. It will only ensure your spaces are available if you decide to pursue your preferred tour. Can i submit my details later? If immediate payment is required, personal details can be submitted after your payment. Please verify the expiration date of your passport prior to be sent. Do i have to pay in full or an initial deposit? If your tour is due to depart in the next 90 days, full payment is required. 91 days or more, you can place your booking with an initial deposit. The initial deposit required varies per cruise. If i pay in full, will i receive my documents immediately? Cruise & tour logistics provide official documents 15 days prior, in order to avoid discrepancies & unreflected changes. We have these expedited when possible. p.18

19 Galapagos Airfare A commercial flight is required to reach Galapagos. 3 airlines depart from Quito or Guayaquil. Most flights departing from Quito will be connected through Guayaquil, with a 30 minute layover. Galapagos is in a different time zone from mainland Ecuador. Expect 1 hour added for inbound, and 1 hour minus for outbound. Flights usually depart early to late morning. Your return flight usually departs early morning, to midday the latest. You can expect flight time of: 3 1/2, to 4 hours from Quito (including your Guayaquil layover). Or 2 hours departing from Guayaquil. If you are entering/departing the islands the se day your cruise starts/ends, you will be picked upon arrival, & dropped off on time to board your departing flight. For guest outside the cruises dates, a meeting point will be arranged. Your services in most cases start & end in the Galapagos airport. Premium services in first class & luxury cruises will include airport assistance in mainland Quito & Guayaquil airports. 20 International Airfare Please keep in mind while planning your Galapagos travel, Quito or Guayaquil will be your starting point. We recommend all customers to consider arriving at least 48 hours prior to their tour s departure. This will ensure you arrive on time and have some backup time in between; in the case of any delays due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. We also advice your international departure be booked the next day you are back from Galapagos. Having a connecting flight, the se day could be potentially missed if your Galapagos airline presents any delays. These are uncommon but do occur every now and then due to last minute changes by the airline or weather. p.20

23 Vaccinations & Immigration Requirements IMMIGRATION details & requirements Immigration requirements vary per country. We encourage all customers to reach their local Ecuadorian embassy to verify all visa, passport and immigration requirements you are required to enter Ecuador. Your passport needs at least 6 months of validity to enter Ecuador. If you reside in one of the following countries, requirements are narrowed down to a bare minimum to enter Ecuador: USA, Australia, UK, Canada & Italy. Requirements are a valid passport and a return ticket, a visa is not required for short terms visits not exceeding 90 days. The international departing tax is included in the cost of your ticket. Travel insurance might become mandatory to enter Ecuador. We also highly suggest having insurance either way. Please consult your trip advisor for insurance suggestions if you don t have any. Regulations are subject to change at short notice, and out of our control, It is the sole responsibility of every traveling guest to make sure their personal paperwork is in order, to avoid any potential setbacks. Yellow fever vaccine is required when your country of origin is carrier of the disease. Yellow fever is endemic to tropical zones in Latin America & Africa. Although you will be visiting Ecuador, azon regions that carry the virus are remote and unaccessible. Most azon lodges will nor require the vaccine to enter their lodge. Yellow fever vaccine is not mandatory to enter Ecuador. The United States requires no vaccinations for re-entry, originating from Ecuador.
