1 FULL-TIME INGÉNIEUR ENAC (MSC PROGRAMME) IN BRIEF Type of diploma : Ingénieur MSc degree Ministry field : Science and Technology Presentation What is an ENAC graduate engineer? Guaranteed versatility for the aeronautics sector ENAC graduate engineers get involved in conceiving, designing, implementing and operating systems or services in the air transport and aeronautics industry. They have a general grounding in air transport, aeronautics and space and cutting-edge expertise in some of these areas: air operations and safety, avionic systems, air traffic management systems and aeronautics and space telecommunications. MORE INFO Level : Year 5 higher education Master Type of education * Full-time LEARN MORE ENAC Website In step with their times, they are highly valued by companies who acknowledge their unequalled versatility. They are able to work across a wide variety of professions and therefore to enjoy a guaranteed progressive career. They work first and foremost in the aerospace industry (designers and manufacturers of aerospace systems), in air transport (airlines, airports), in civil aviation Authorities (DGAC) and a whole host of associated sectors. They are an irreplaceable means of making contact with the Page 13 / 15
14 professional world, of discovering its diversity, concerns and needs. They also enable the students to gain a clearer picture of the profession of graduate engineer and the areas in which they might wish to work. Three internships have to be performed along the three years of the programme. S6-7 - END OF FIRST YEAR INTERNSHIP >> CORPORATE & INDUSTRY IMMERSION This 4-8 weeks internship takes place between mid-june and end of August. The aim of this placement is to discover the corporate or industrial environment through any kind of task. This may be either production-based tasks, assistance tasks or a small study or research. S8-9 - END OF SECOND YEAR INTERNSHIP >> ENGINEERING STUDY OR RESEARCH The students perform a weeks internship between end of May and end of September. They are placed in situations where they are expected to take the initiative to solve or participate in the resolution of an industrial or research problem, of either a technological or technical economic nature. Through this exercise, they get a better understanding of the engineering profession by actively integrating into a team of graduate engineers. The work performed as well as the functions occupied by the student may fit to the demands faced by young graduate engineers at the beginning of their career. This can take the form of an assistance to a senior graduate engineer. S10 - END OF THIRD YEAR INTERNSHIP >> END OF STUDY PROJECT This is a weeks internship during which the students carry out a fullscale, high level project of scientific, technical or methodological nature, within a company or a research laboratory. Through this final project, the student, as a fulltime member of a working team, is given the opportunity of mixing different skills acquired during his academic semesters, and of showing his ability to put it into practice in a professional context. It is essential that the student has his own project (that can be a subset of a wider project) under his responsibility. This project finishes with both a written report as well as an oral defence interview in front of a jury at ENAC premises in Toulouse. Page 14 / 15
