Day 2 FRI Arrival Upon arrival at the International Airport you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Day 3 SAT - Research ase of Giant Panda reeding Jinli Old Street and Kuan & Zhai Alley Today you will visit the Research ase of Giant Panda reeding famous for its breeding program and home of the Giant Pandas and their gorgeous cousins the Red Pandas. Afterwards your tour manager will take you on a City Tour. During the tour you will head to the Jinli Old Street and Kuan & Zhai Alley; an area unique for its fusion of ancient and modern China. The shop keepers and waiters dress in traditional style clothing making this street feel as though you have stepped back in time. Today's special meal: You may enjoy an optional Sichuan cuisine Hotpot. Day 4 SUN Explore city at your own pace. Alternatively join the optional tour with your local guide too see the Leshan Giant uddha. The Leshan Giant uddha is a 71-metre-tall stone statue that has been carved out of the side of a towering cliff face. It is the largest stone uddha in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. Day 5 MON eijing Tian'anmen Square Today you will be transfered to eijing by flight. Upon arrival you will visit Tiananmen Square the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China. Afterwards you will be able to explore the city on your own or you can join the optional Hutong tour to explore the Hutong neighbourhood on rickshaw and visit a local family for lunch. The Hutong neighbourhood is one of eijing's rapidly disappearing traditional districts. Day 6 TUE L eijing - The Great Wall This morning travel to China's most iconic sight the Great Wall. Once on top of this ancient defensive structure you'll find that some sections are quite steep however the views are magnificent and the experience is truly unforgettable. Your Visit to the Great Wall will be followed by a stop at a Jade Factory to learn about Chinese Jade China's most precious and celebrated stone. Today you could also have the chance to join an optional tour with your experienced tour guide to visit the Summer Palace. Wonder through a traditional Chinese royalty garden and take in the exquisite architecture. 01

Today you will be staying overnight at and you will enjoy the night scene of the Great wall - Simatai Section. Day 8 THU Today you will continue to explore the at your own pace. You will enjoy and experience an oldfashioned simplicity and elegance. Row upon row of houses old quartzite streets and long Hutongs show the style and features of the old town. River channels are scattered between streets; houses near the river are bathed in sunlight. Alternatively you have options to experience unique local customs and participate in a range of activities. Day 9 FRI L to eijing Temple of Heaven eijing Xi'an Today you'll be heading back to eijing in the morning. Practice Tai Chi at the Temple of Heaven. Tai Chi is an internal martial art system which places emphasis on the development and control of Chi (Consciousness) energy within the body. Afterwards you can experience an oriental foot massage at a traditional Chinese Medical Centre where you will learn about alternative treatments for illness and will have a chance to consult with a Chinese Medical professional. Today you will be transferred from eijing to Xi an by bullet train. Upon arrival you will be met by your tour guide and will be transferred to your hotel. Day 10 SAT L Xian - Terracotta Warriors Moslem Street Today you will explore the ancient wonders of Xi'an. For a period of more than 1000 years Xi'an served as China's capital city and remains home to a great number of precious relics and historical sites. Your tour today will include a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and lively Moslem Street. The Terracotta Warriors site is widely considered as the eighth wonder of the world and was discovered by accident in You will see the army of over 7000 soldiers archers horses and chariots that has guarded Emperor Qin's tomb since 210C. Each figure is unique and the painstaking repair and excavation continues to this day. After lunch you will walk through the famous Moslem Street where many souvenirs and delicious local snacks can be sampled. Day 11 SUN D Xi'an - Chongqing Today you will be transfered to Chongqing by bullet train. Spend some time exploring the city of Chongqing. In the afternoon you will board the ship and will begin your memorable 3-night cruise down the Yangtze River. Day 12 MON Fengdu Ghost City L D Join the shore excursion in the morning and visit the Fengdu Ghost City to find out why it is regarded as the 02

Stopover When you purchased your group tour we endeavor to find the best path to get you from your origin city (Sydney Melbourne Perth risbane or Adelaide) to your destination. Most of the time this means we need to go through a large hub airport to then connect with a domestic flight. We always seek to ensure the minimum amount of layover time that meets with the required transfer times set by the airlines and/or designated airports. INTERNAL TRANSPORTATION Internal flights Domestic flights are based on economy class with reputable airlines. Pre-flight seat allocation is not available on international and internal flight sectors. On your Yangtze River cruise ship you will have a private bathroom and balcony. Please note that the cruise ship and all shore excursions arranged by the cruise are on a shared basis. High Speed Trains You will travel in second-class soft seat class with air conditioning. Please note: On high speed trains the train companies have implemented a policy which does not allow passengers to carry inflammable liquids including aerosols styling gel compressed air or insecticides; any explosives magnetized material knives scissors or sharp items (medication is fine). ag checks are conducted randomly and any of these items may be confiscated before boarding the train (in hand luggage or main luggage).
