When paying final payments by check, please make check payable to Citslinc International Inc. Each traveler must have individual check one person per check. (Sorry No Credit Cards for Final Payments) A Passport and Visa are required. Please verify that your Passport will not expire six months beyond the tour date. Citslinc International Inc will process your Visa for a fee of $145. Your passport must be submitted along with your payment (payable to Citslinc International Inc), visa application form, and two passport I.D. photos. Visa processing will take place after the closing date and thirty days prior to departure. Citslinc International Inc s Cancellation Policy: If a cancellation is made after the closing date (August 21, 2009), a $500 Cancellation Fee will be deducted from your final payment. To receive a refund of the balance, your flight ticket must be returned immediately. Citslinc International Inc has Travel Insurance information available for you. Travel Insurance must be purchased in order to receive full reimbursement of your final payment. 3 November China Trip # 2 Itinerary Day 1 November 3, 2008 (Tues) Los Angeles/Beijing Board a convenient charter bus in the morning, and travel to Los Angeles International Airport for an afternoon flight MU586 by 12:30 p.m. to Beijing. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-pacific aboard a wide cabin jetliner. Cross the International Dateline. Day 2 November 4 (Wed) Beijing (King Wing Hotel/5-Star, 17 Dongsanhuan Rd. S., Tel: ) Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China at 11:00 p.m. after a stopover in Shanghai. You will be met by your local tour guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Day 3 November 5 (Thurs) Beijing Visit the Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world, and the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 A.D., where the emperors prayed to the heaven for a good harvest. Sightseeing also includes the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, home of 24 emperors with a total space of 9,999 rooms, and the Summer Palace, known for many significance such as the Long Corridor with painted gallery, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, Seventeen- Arch Bridge and Marble Boat. Day 4 November 6 (Fri) Beijing Tour bus excursion to the Great Wall, the 4,000- mile long and 2,000 year old construction is said to be the only man-made structure visible by naked eye from the moon. Visit to the Ming Tombs, one of 13 Ming Emperors' Tombs is fully excavated and open for exploration. Roasted Beijing Duck Dinner. Day 5 November 7 (Sat) Beijing/Xi an Trip #1 and Trip #2 Groups will separate. Morning flight to Xi an, stay at Grand Castle Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing to the Big Wild Geese Pagoda. Evening entertainment of Tang Style Dancing. Day 6 November 8 (Sun) Xi an Morning bus excurses to the Terra-Cotta Warriors at the Tomb of the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty. On the way back, visit the Huaqing Hot Spring Park and Banpo Museum, a preserved pre-historical cavemen site. Day 7 November 9 (Mon) Xi an/shanghai (Guangdong Hotel/4-Star, 328 Yixian Rd., Shanghai Tel: ) Trip #1 and Trip #2 Groups will meet up again in Shanghai. Flight to Shanghai. Day 8 November 10 (Tues) Shanghai Sightseeing includes the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, and rocky works and over arching trees. Visit to the Bund, a famous waterfront park. Business visit to the Pudong economic development zone. Day 9 November 11 (Wed) Shanghai/Los Angeles You may spend your final hours in China on your own in the morning. Afternoon flight MU583 will depart by 2:50 p.m. for Los Angeles where you will arrive at 10:30 a.m. on the same day and return to your Chamber parking via bus. 4 Shopping Information Beijing Jade Factory: China is rich in its jade resource, therefore jade and its cultural impact to Chinese people and later on to Asians has been historical. Tourists will get a chance to visit Beijing s Jade Carving Factory which so far has the biggest jade collection in China. Tourists will find hundreds of thousands of precious jade, jadeites and handmade jade carvings, the raw material which comes from the Northeast and Silk Road area of China. Pearl Farm: The Pearl shop in Beijing has been exhibiting a rich variety of home produced sea pearls and fresh water pearls due to both the historical reason and the modern market. Among them, the king and queen size pearls are really of precious quality. The type of Pearl Powder on sale was first contributed to Qing Dynasty Royal Family as a cosmetic, and they can be found here too. Ming and Qing Dynasty Furniture: It is an Ancient Furniture Fair. Apart from the antique furniture, there is also a lot of newly made furniture of Ming and Qing Dynasty style to be found in the fair. Shipment is available. Cloisonné Factory: Born in Beijing 300 years ago, cloisonné is the kind of handmade arts and crafts article used a great deal by royal family and rich families in the past. Now it is popular to everybody. Tourists will take a chance to visit the workshop to see how the beautiful articles are made with their own eyes. The gorgeous design, hand-made workmanship and tremendous types make cloisonné articles really attractive to both domestic and overseas tourists.
