2 CURVED PLYWOOD COMPONENTS Our curved plywood components are manufactured using a 7 or 9 ply lay-up of hardwood poplar. They are virtually void free and dimensionally accurate. The surface is ideal for laminating or veneering. Some surface sanding would be required along with a primer for painted applications. For U.P.S. parcels under $200.00, we must add a handling fee of $10.00 per order. The components marked with a ** will not ship U.P.S., as is, because they are over the U.P.S. size limit of 130" (girth plus length measured as if in a box). We can cut these to any size required for U.P.S. shipment. If you cannot have them cut, they will go common carrier truck using our discounted carriers or one you choose. The components are wrapped in either cardboard or heavy paper and usually go out the same day the order is received. Discounts are available depending on the quantities ordered. Custom curved plywood components can be provided to your specifications with production type quantities. 5 FLEXIBLE BACKED VENEER SHEETS We are now stocking veneer sheets for the cabinet and millwork industry. Many common species are ready to ship from our inventory, others may have a small lead time. The veneer sheets are manufactured with a 10 mil paper back and are 48" x 96" in size. Veneer sheets with a size of 48" x 120" are available with a $.20 per square foot up charge. You can either will call them at our Anaheim, Ca. facility or we can send U.P.S. We add a $10.00 packaging and handling fee on U.P.S. orders under $ A 5% discount will be offered for orders of 6 or more sheets. It is manufactured using two types of glue, a black, exterior, marine grade, phenolic glue or a clear, white, urea glue. as indicated. It is certified for uniform glue spreading and veneer thickness. Both faces and interior plys are free of knots and voids. The thinner materials can be used for model building, architectural mock-ups or arts and crafts applications. The 5mm and 6 mm are used for boomerangs or any application where a durable and thin piece of plywood is required. 7 APPLEPLY Appleply is constructed of smooth maple faces and backs with 1/16" veneer plys of birch. The plywood is virtually void free and reveals an attractive edge when used as drawer sides. It is also ideal for speaker cabinet construction. Appleply has beauty, strength and the aesthetics associated with the uniform blonde look of scandinavian furniture components. The 48" x 96" panel has an ultra violet cured flatline finish on both sides. The epoxy acrylate finish is not effected from water or solvents and is suitable for acetone wipe down. It is completely formaldehyde free and leaves a very durable, hard, clear finish on the smooth maple faces. The 1/2" C-2 grade is primarily used for drawer sides while the B-1 grades are used for case goods or fixtures. As with the regular Appleply, the core is a tight veneer lay up of birch.
