This new service will be branded Chauffeur Drive and will be available at select airport and several big city locations (see list of locations at the end of this bulletin). This exciting new service will provide our Preferred Service members with a greater opportunity to enjoy the Avis car rental experience. Just think, our customers can brush up on their reading while someone else drives and no more looking for a parking spot they can be dropped off at their destination. Reservations Preferred Service members who wish to add Chauffeur Drive to the Avis rental must have a reservation that includes Chauffeur Drive. Reservations must be made through the Omni Desk at the Worldwide Reservation Center in Tulsa (Telephone Number: ), 24 hours in advance of rental. Once the customer has made a reservation and been given a reservation number, the Omni Agent will then transfer the customer to WeDriveU who will complete the Chauffeur Drive reservation process and complete a client agreement. Once the Chauffeur Drive reservation process has been completed, the WeDriveU agent will contact the Omni Desk with the driver s name and cellular telephone number. This information will be entered on reservation in the local contact (LCL CONT) field by the Omni Agent. The customer s flight information should not be included in the reservation.

2 Page 2 of 9 The Omni Desk will send the renting location an , 2-days prior to the reservation. The OMNI Desk will call the renting location 1-day prior to the reservation. If the rental is reserved 1-day prior to the rental date, the Omni agent will send an and call the rental location 1-day day prior to rental. The Chauffeur will pick up the Avis car rental approximately one half hour prior to reservation. Note: It will be the responsibility of the WeDriveU Chauffeur to monitor the customer s flight arrival for any delayed flights and pick up the Avis car accordingly. Cost The cost of Chauffeur Drive is $30 per hour with a 3-hour minimum. Chauffeur Drive will be billed separately by WeDriveU. Do not add the charge for Chauffeur Drive to the Avis rental charges. The telephone number for WeDriveU is Rental Process Managers should alert rental sales agents of all Chauffeur Drive reservations for the day. All rentals for Chauffeur Drive should be preprinted 30 minutes prior to the customer s scheduled arrival time. The rental sales agent will also start to fill out the additional driver form, print a copy of the reservation (Chauffeur s name and cell phone number will appear in the local contact field) and affix the reservation display to the preprinted RA. Once the Chauffer arrives at the customer service area, the rental sales agent will verify the Chauffeur Driver s name and cell phone number and complete the additional driver form. Note: every effort should be made to avoid having the Chauffeur wait in line in order to avoid a delay in picking up the customer. If the names do not match, do not allow the driver to pick up the customer s car and contact WeDriveU at before processing the rental. The driver does not need to provide a credit/debit card to be added as an additional driver. The additional driver fee should be waived for these rentals. The customer does not have to sign the additional driver form as they have completed a client agreement with WeDriveU which contained the additional driver information. Provide the driver with the customer s Preferred Service agreement along with a copy of the additional driver form and the keys to the car. Gate Guard Procedures The Chauffeur will present the additional driver form and his driver s license to the Gate Guard to exit the lot.

3 Page 3 of 9 Car Return The WeDriveU chauffeur will return the car for the customer. Once the car is returned, the customer will receive two (2) receipts. Wizard will automatically send the customer an receipt of the total rental charges. WeDriveU will send a separate receipt for the cost of the Chauffeur Drive. There are no additional requirements at car return.
