Leh seems to be decorating the Himalayas with its immense beauty and breath-taking views. And going on a bike trip to Leh, is absolutely an adventurer s biggest dream ever.

3 Day 01: ARRIVE AT LEH You will arrive at Leh, and we will receive you from the airport and take you to the hotel. As you will be tired from the long journey, this day you will take it easy, This - its 10,000 ft and you need to acclimatize to get used to low oxygen levels. So take this day at leisure. Day 02: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (ACCLIMATIZATION DAY) This is the day for a local tour of Leh region. Another day to acclimatize to high altitude, as also covers some significant tourist spots. It s a fine day to get used to your bike and the traffic conditions. The overnight stay will be at hotel. Day 03: LEH PANGONG LAKE So, today is the 3 rd day of our bike trip and we will be riding towards Pangong Lake. Yes, the one with immense beauty and it is a landscape s most beautiful and expressive feature. If you remember the scene from the movie 3 Idiots when Kareena Kapoor comes riding on a scooter to meet Aamir Khan, then you have already seen the scenic beauty of the picturesque Pangong Lake. It has emerged as one of the most popular places to visit among tourists in recent times especially after the Bollywood blockbusters "3 idiots" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". And the overnight stay will be at camps. Day 04: PANGONG LAKE NUBRA VALLEY Waking-up to the bright and fresh morning, the environment is all refreshing and beautiful and we are heading towards the breath-taking Nubra Valley, the capital of Ladakh district. Nubra river valleys offer enormous views on an expansive scale. After having some appetizing dinner we will enjoy the night stay at camps. Day 05: NUBRA TURTUK NUBRA So, today we are heading towards Turtuk, it is one of the gateways to Siachen Glacier. The village offers views of Beautiful Valley, part of the Shyok Valley. Though a Muslim village, there are a few Gompas located on the plateau above the Shyok River and there is an old royal house to see in the village. Turtuk is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti culture, and one can find a few home stays and guest houses in the village. Arriving back to Nubra, the overnight stay will be at camps. Day 06: NUBRA VALLEY KHARDUNG LA LEH So, today is the day of excitement as we are visiting the world s highest motorable road Khardungla. Riding to Khardungla is an achievement in itself, reaching that point makes you feel so proud and enthusiastic. Khardungla is an absolute beauty and offers mind-blowing and panoramic views. Arriving back to Leh is the end of your motor biking and now it s time for some rest at hotel. Day 07: : LEH DESTINATION So, today is the last day and we have finished our adventure trip, but we do have lots of adventurous and fun-filled memories to take home and that is the best part. So, now you go home and share the best moments of your life with your near and dear ones and smile whenever you recall them.

Which bike you provide for the trip? A. We provide 350cc Royal Enfield Bikes. Q. Can we have any option in bikes? A. Yes, you have other options of Bajaj Avenger, Yamaha FZ. Q. Do you have any right shift gear bikes? A. No, we don t have bikes with right shift gears. Q. What things do you provide with bike? A. We provide all the accessories like Carrier, helmets, Gloves, Cans for fuel etc on nominal charges. Q. What about the condition bikes? A. We provide all bikes in perfect conditions, with adding new bikes to our fleet every year. Q. Is the fuel cost including in this trip? A. Yes, the fuel cost is also included in this trip. Q. How is the condition of road during whole trip? A. 60% Roads are in good condition, in other 40% you can experience off road driving. Q. Do I need to carry full set of bike repair tools? A. No, you do not need to carry any kit regarding bike repair. We will provide you mechanic and every tool you do need during the trip. Q. Which transport you provide for backup vehicle? A. This is the kind of trip riding gear is made for. Get a riding jacket, pants, shoes, gloves and full face helmet. Keep in mind that all of your riding gear should be good to go against rain, hail and snow. Q. Do I need to carry thermal wear? A. Yes there will be very cold, so it is advisory to carry thermal wear.

7 Q. What kind of food you provide during the trip? A. We provide food for 2 times in a day i.e. Breakfast & Dinner. Q. Do I need to carry any documents with me? A. Carry an original Driving Licence card and a passport size photograph. Q. Is there any lack of oxygen during trip? A. Anybody travelling 10,000 feet above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. The biggest cause of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is dehydration. People on the trip forget to drink enough water, they just keep on riding. To beat AMS, take the following steps: 1. Drink lots and lots of water mixed with glucose. 2. Take everything slow. Even little labour at high altitudes will leave you spent. 3. Take one Diamox at Manali on the morning when you leave for Leh. Diamox takes one hour to start working. 4. Don t push too hard, take the trip slow. Ascent slowly, decent slowly. 5. If you feel the symptoms creeping up, stop and take some rest. Don t keep pushing. Q. Which language speaks in Ladakh? A. Ladakhi people speaks local Ladakhi language though all of them understand Hindi with some of them (city dwellers) understand English too. Q. What about money exchange, can we use Debit/credit cards? A. Money can be exchanged only Leh town, you can also use debit/credit card in few of the reputed shops and hotels but at additional 2% service tax. Q. Which network is accessible? A. During whole trip in Ladakh region you can only access postpaid BSNL, Airtel and Vodafone.
