The Merry Ploughboys Live in Concert is widely regarded as the best traditional music show in Dublin and also as a must see for any visitors to Dublin city. 6 2 Dublin Activities - Included in your trip Visit to Cliffs of Moher and Burren Tour (Seat in Coach). PICK UP TIME 07:00 hours DROP UP TIME 14:00 hours DURATION 7 hours Taking you along Galway Bay, your first stop is at the fishing village of Kinvara to see Dungaire Castle and into the Burren, home to 75% of Ireland's native flora and the location of numerous ancient monuments - many of which we visit including the Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, the 5,800 year old Poulnabrone Dolmen and Ballyalban Fairy Fort - home of little men with green hats and orange beards! We will also stop at Kilfenora to see the famous Celtic Crosses and then make our way to the 200 metre high and 8km's long cliffs of Moher. Enjoy stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands and take your time to soak up the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moher. At the Cliffs you will have 2 hours free to enjoy the visit and you will have a guided tour. Having completed the tour you return to the Galway Coach Station at approx 5:30pm. Your ticket allows you to board the Dublin and Galway Tour Company's 6:30pm Shuttle Bus (arrive Dublin City Centre at 9pm approx.) At the departure point, please locate the coach displaying "Galway Tour Company" signboard.

7 3 Dublin The day is at leisure to explore the city of Dublin at your own pace. Alternately you may take a lovely short tour into the Wicklow Mountains to visit Ireland's most famous village, Avoca and also the magnificent Glendalough.

This usually means live bands playing everything from well-known Irish ballads and Beatles covers to the latest boy bands. By the end of the night the whole pub is singing along with wild abandon. It is easy to look down ones nose at such 'entertainment'. It is far easierto doff your jacket, clear your throat and join the fun. Visit Muckross House Gardens: This nineteenth century Victorian mansion is set against the stunning beauty of Killarney National Park. The house stands close to the shores of Muckross Lake, one of Killarney's three lakes, famed worldwide for their splendour and beauty. As a focal point within Killarney National Park, Muckross House is the ideal base from which to explore this landscape.

The route then takes us to Cahirciveen where we see Valentia Island on the right. Waterville is next, then along the coast via Coomakista Pass and Derrynane, the home of Daniel O'Connell "The Liberator". From Sneem it's up the mountain to Moll's Gap and then down to Ladies View and home by the Lakes of Killarney. To describe this tour in detail is an impossible task as this is an experience you must 'see and feel'.
