3 Get Back Into The Trees In 2010, inspired by the idea that trees could be best saved by having people live in them, treehouse architect Alex Shirley- Smith strung up a prototype of a collapsible treehouse in his living room. The prototypes scaled up in size until a working design was finalised and went viral after being published on inhabitat.com. In 2011, Tentsile began developing a range of Tree Tents, introducing their Flagship design, Stingray to the market with great critical acclaim. This all-season, three person model was followed by a modular two person Connect Tree Tent (again all seasons) which can also connect to other Connects to form a giant Tree Tent The team followed up with the Trillium three person hammock which can be converted into the Vista Tree Tent. 10 Stealth - New for 2018 This model boasts three separate entrances, one on each side of the tent. Each occupant has their own generous hammock berth, storage space in the central Tower Shelf and ability to modulate ventilation in their area of the interior cabin. The three adjustable hammocks inside can be further separated or combined using the underfloor strap-system with a simple loosening or tightening of the seat belt strap. The interior is completely insect proof, rain proof and UV resistant, made from no-see-um mesh and easily covered by our clip-on 3000hh rainfly.
