Program Director, ACP, kicked-off the ACP Board meeting on January 24, 2012 and welcomed the ACP members and briefed about the ACP Agenda 4. Dashboard of Projects & Proposal Dr. Arjun Singh, Program Director - ACP reviewed the Project Status and invited team lead of the project to brief ACP Board regarding on-going project status, project under process in USTDA and project under consideration., please refer to the four square charts presented in the ACP Board meeting presentation. 4.1 Projects underway a. Helicopter Aviation Safety Technical Assistance Final report of this project has been reviewed by DGCA with confirmatory TOR. This project has been completed. b. Technical Training for Aerospace Industry: Training in progress for Course no.8, 23 & 24. c. AAI ATCO Manpower Assessment Final Report submitted on December 7, 2011. d. GBAS Pilot Project at Chennai Airport GBAS Grant offer Letter was signed on 19/07/2011, Contract Agreement has been finalized &. Discussions are underway between Honeywell and AAI to resolve Hardware procurement Contract issues. e. Technical, Management, & Operational Development Training [TMODT]: Group 4 and 5 training completed and further training program has been submitted to DGCA for approval which is expected to start in the month of April 2012. 4.3 Proposals under Development a. ATM Processes & Procedures Implementation AAI has declined so project has been dropped a. Geographic Information System (GIS) platform in Indian Airports TOR had been submitted and presentation made to AAI on Nov15, 2010 and same had been approved. Member (ANS) had suggested adding SMS module for AAI in this project. This project has been approved by MoCA and Final proposal has been forwarded to USTDA and Company has been asked to approach AAI to seek a letter of support. c. AAI CNS Manpower Assessment [AAI cost Share]: TOR has been finalized and Proposal is under preparation and likely to be submitted in the Month of Feb 2012. 4.4 Proposals under Consideration a. Airport Security Assessment Exploratory discussions are being held with BCAS to assess what kind of support they would need from ACP. 5. ACP Co-Chair has been decided to drop the ACP subcommittee initiative.

6. Approved ACP Projects under consideration in year 2012 A. With the Airports Authority of India Geographical Information System (GIS) for Indian Airport [ Hi-Tec] ATFM Pilot project for Indian Airspace [ Metron Aviation] Airport Operational Assessment on overall capacity assessment of the airports with the help of software simulation. [ Jeppssen] Airport Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) process [IBM] B. With the Director General of Civil Aviation Traceability systems and standards for aerospace manufacturing supply chain [Yet to be decided] Study on Helicopter new corridor for GA and analysis on high density area and overlapping of airspace [Yet to be decided] 7. Membership Renewal 2012 10 ACP members company have renewed their membership. 8. Proposed ACP Projects 2012 A. Area of the ACP Projects Airport Sustainability RNP AR services Offering [ AAI is not interested] Airport Terminal air purification clean technology study B. General Aviation Issues Reduced Time Frame for Approval of Landing and Over-flight Clearances [Consider a blanket or multiple operation system] Improved Processing of Formalities, ( Customs & Immigration ) [This is best done via dedicated terminals or FOB s] A More Favorable Climate for Purchase and Operation of Business Aircraft [ Taxation and regulation] Develop A Process Allowing Easier Ramp Side Access for Business aircraft pilots and support personnel Develop Guidelines for the Regulation and Support of Business aircraft [Commercial aviation and business aviation are totally different] C. Seminar / Workshop Proposed- 2012 General Aviation Seminar February 9, 2012 This program is supported by ACP Secretariat and encouraging ACP Company working on GA to participate. IACO team is also participating; they have been assigned by GOI to prepare the report on GA in the Indian aviation perspective. India Aviation 2012-14-18 March 2012, Hyderabad ACP Secretariat will shift to Hyderabad on 13-03-2012 and operate from their to arrange following action i. Half day seminar on Airport Sustainability [ L & B has to take lead] ii. Preparation ACP Booth iii. Advertising material a. Standee b. Brochure [300] c. ACP Magazine [ 150 copies ] iv. Exploring possibility to have Dinner with Minister of Civil Aviation. v. Manning booth not more than eight hours 9. ACP Magazine Shared Horizons Issue IV January June 2012: ACP magazine Shared Horizons Issue IV specifications and required material is presented in this meeting. The last date for receipt of the material is 15 th May 2012. The magazine will be release 15 th June 2012. 10. Airport Development Initiatives The ACP will continue to discuss the three Airport Development initiative of AIWG (HTCG) for Puduchery, Toticurian and Jharsuguda unused airstrip to explore the option of ACP take on the role of airport developers. 11. New Initiatives: This initiative was opposed by officiating Co-Chair (USG) in totality i. Periodical Meeting with stakeholder: Objection raised by Mr. Ajay Kumar, FAA, Civil Aviation Specialist on behalf Co-chair (USG) to remove this point from the slide and Co-chair will decide meeting agenda not Program Director, ACP.

ii. Expansion of the ACP Secretariats: Mr. Ajay Kumar, FAA, Civil Aviation Specialist on behalf of Co-chair (USG) has objected for expansion of ACP Secretariat and also said that USG does not have provision for expansion. As per ACP By-law, this provision exists. The By-law was prepared and approved by ACP Board including ACP Co-chairs. ACP By-law uploaded on www.acpindia.com for reference purpose. 10.
