Karaoke Dance Party Night!! On Friday October 13, the international students gathered to Get their Rock Star on. There were three rooms set up at the International School with microphones and sound systems, so the students could sing along to their favorite songs. All songs could be sung in English or their native language. By the end of the evening, the students turned it into a Dance Party!!
3 Day Trip Vancouver, BC- Oct 20-22 2017 There is a reason that Vancouver, BC is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with its amazing skylines and green space. Stanley Park is larger in square footage than Central Park in New York City!! Over the three day trip, the students visited beautiful Capilano Suspension Bridge, The Vancouver Aquarium, experienced the Fly Over Canada interactive ride at Canada Place, hiked at Grouse Mountain, had an Adventure Boat ride at Horseshoe Bay and of course shopping at Metro Town Mall. It was a very busy weekend but fun was had by all.
Kamloops Blazers Hockey Game On Friday Oct 27, the international students watched the local Kamloops Blazers Hockey team play a game against the Everett Silvertips at the Sandman Center located in downtown Kamloops. Unfortunately, the Blazer s did not win but that did not affect the happy and fun energy of our students!!
Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Party People of all ages enjoy the act of dressing up in costumes, carving pumpkins and enjoying candied treats on October 31. The students had an opportunity to carve pumpkins on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct 27 at the International School.
