Seuns kon vir hierdie doel n stalletjie bespreek en hul eie produkte verkoop. Die manne het ons verbaas met hul kreatiwiteit en besigheidsvaardighede. This also reminded me of an article that I read about the importance of teaching the youth the value of financial intelligence. The world of work is changing and young people are: Battling to find jobs after studying (world-wide) Having to reskill themselves very early on to find jobs, either through short courses or by going back to full time studies (which is either costly to them or to us, their parents.) Having to take jobs that are barely related to what they have studied or their field of interest, just to get their foot in the door, even though they may have an honours or masters degree. Finding themselves facing retrenchments a number of times within their first few years of employment because the world of work is changing so much. Having to work a number of different jobs at the same time for both income and for experience. Developing a side hustle which is a job on the side that feeds a passion of theirs beyond their day job (some of these side hustles can grow to become fully fledged businesses). Find themselves out of work for periods in between jobs. SPORTMANSHIP The Boys High Old Boys Union hosted a spectacular function on Friday evening. During this function, a commemoration book to celebrate the 150 th celebration of the Boys High family was launched. The Union has decided to give each grade 7 boy in Klein Boishaai a copy of the book as a gift. This is a wonderful gesture as the books are being sold for R 750 each.
