1. Mission Week Programme The Business Mission week in Singapore and Philippines will take place from Monday, 23 October 2017 to Friday, 27 October 2017. You should arrive at the mission hotel in Singapore by Monday, 23 October 2017, morning in order to attend the first mandatory briefing session at 12:00. All mandatory events will take place at Sands Expo and Convention Centre or Marina Mandarin Hotel in Singapore and the Shangri-la at the Fort Hotel in Manila, Philippines. 1.1. 1.2. Mission Week Events At the time of release some of the venues and event details are still to be confirmed. You will receive a final agenda with all confirmed venues and event details shortly before the mission week. 1.2.1. Informal Gathering Singapore Date: Monday, 23 October 2017 Time: 18:00 Venue: ME@OUE, 50 Collyer Quay, OUE Bayfront, Singapore 049321 Participants who wish to meet with other participants are invited to attend to a special networking reception organised by Singapore International Energy Week (of which ACES is a part). If interested, you can register at: https://goo.gl/forms/zggw9dr2ibsxpnia2 Dress Code: Business Casual 1.2.2. Briefing Session Singapore Date: Monday, 23 October 2017 Time: 12:00 14:30 Venue: TBA The Briefing Session comprises a final update on mission week events in Singapore and Philippines, meetings scheduled by the organisers and in-depth presentations on doing business in Singapore by local sector experts. 1.2.3. Business Exhibition Days Singapore Date: Tuesday, 24 October 2017 / Wednesday, 25 October 2017 Time: 09:00-18:00 (on 24 October) / 09:00-17:00 (on 25 October) Venue: Roselle & Simpor Ballroom, Level 4, Sands Expo and Convention Centre Green Energy Technologies - Business Mission Programme - Page 7 of 27

The Business Exhibition will take place at the venue of the Trade Exhibition, Asia Clean Energy Summit (ACES) 2017. Participants will be able to showcase products and technologies to a targeted audience of potential business partners. Ad-hoc and pre-scheduled business meetings will take place at booths at the exhibition. Optional 'Meet-the-Exhibitors' sessions are also scheduled to be held concurrently during the exhibition. 1.2.3.1. Exhibition Floor Plan The Exhibition floor plan will be available in the Participant Manual, which will be uploaded to the Member Area approximately 1 week before the start of the Mission. Within the EU Business Avenues Pavilion, companies will be allocated by alphabetical order based on company name. 1.2.3.2. Exhibition Booth Each company will be allocated a 9sqm booth (3m by 3m) with standard furniture. You can order extra furniture and equipment via the Booth Organisation action page on the Member Area on the website. 1.2.3.3. Booth Setup You will be able to enter the exhibition hall with the Exhibitor Passes issued to you at the briefing session in the Singapore mission hotel to prepare and set up your booth. All booths must be ready by 20:00 on 23 October. If you ship items by the appointed official freight forwarder, the items will be delivered to your booth accordingly. 1.2.3.4. Catalogue Board There will be a catalogue board located within the pavilion. Each company will be allocated an acrylic box to place your company catalogue. 1.2.3.5. Lunch Lunch boxes will be provided for participants during the Exhibition Days on 24 & 25 October 2017 in Singapore, and during the Business-to-Business Meeting Days on 26 & 27 October 2017 in Manila. No meals will be provided for trade visitors. 1.2.4. Business Networking Reception Singapore Date: Tuesday, 24 October 2017 Time: 18:00 20:00 Venue: Sands Expo and Convention Centre The Business Networking Reception hosted by the European Union is an opportunity to network with business partners, potential partners, and professional colleagues in an informal environment. Participants can invite their own guests and have the opportunity to meet representatives from EU Member State embassies and organisations in Singapore. Each company will receive 2 invitation cards during the briefing session in Singapore. 1.2.5. Briefing Session Manila, Philippines Date: Thursday, 26 October 2017 Time: 09:30 11:10 Venue: Talisay AB, Level 3, Shangri-la at the Fort The Briefing Session comprises a final update on mission week events in Philippines and meetings scheduled by the organisers. 1.2.6. Business-to-Business Meeting Days Manila, Philippines Date: Thursday & Friday, 26 & 27 October 2017 Time: 10:00 18:00 Venue: Grand Ballroom A, Shangri-la at the Fort Green Energy Technologies - Business Mission Programme - Page 9 of 27

Business Networking Reception Manila, Philippines Date: Wednesday, 6 September 2017 Time: 18:00 20:00 Venue: Foyer of Grand Ballroom A, Shangri-la at the Fort The Business Networking Reception hosted by the European Union is an opportunity to network with business partners, potential partners, and professional colleagues in an informal environment. Participants can invite their own guests and should have the opportunity to meet representatives from EU Member State embassies and organisations in Philippines. Each company will receive 2 invitation cards during the briefing session in Singapore. 1.2.8. Debriefing Session Date: Friday, 27 October 2017 Time: 15:00 17:00 Venue: Talisay AB, Level 3, Shangri-la at the Fort The Debriefing Session is a mandatory event for you to give feedback on EU Gateway Business Avenues and the business mission week to representatives of the EU. You will also be asked to complete a short questionnaire before departing the mission. The information you provide at the Debriefing Session is valuable to the EU and organisers in considering how EU Business Avenues in South East Asia can be made more effective for European companies. 2. Mission Week Preparation: Travel, Accommodation and Logistics 2.1. Singapore Business Mission 2.1.1. Travelling to Singapore You or your company should make the necessary arrangement for your flight and pay for your tickets. The cost of the flight tickets should be paid by you or your company and it will not be reimbursed. All flights will arrive at either Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, 2, 3 or 4. 2.1.2. Travelling to Mission Hotel (Marina Mandarin Singapore) in Singapore Marina Mandarin Singapore is a luxury hotel set in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District and offers direct access to the Marina Square Shopping Mall. The most convenient way to get to the mission hotel is by taxi estimated taxi fare including airport surcharge is SGD 30 (~EUR 19); estimated time is 20 minutes. Address: 6 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, 039594 2.1.3. Singapore Visa Entry Requirements If you are holding an EU Member State passport, you will not require any visa during your visit to Singapore for the stipulated business mission. For more information on visa entry requirements, you may visit: http://www.ica.gov.sg/index.aspx. 2.1.4. Arrival Date You should arrive at the mission hotel in Singapore by Monday, 23 October 2017, morning in order to attend the first mandatory briefing session at 12:00. 2.1.5. Departure Date The business exhibition will end at 17:00 on Wednesday, 25 October 2017. You will need to check out on 25 October 2017 before heading to the exhibition venue. As there is only one optimal flight time for Singapore-Manila at 19:45, you are strongly advised to take your luggage with you to the exhibition and head directly to the airport from the exhibition venue. 2.1.6. Booking your Accommodation Singapore To be eligible for the EU accommodation co-financing, you must book your accommodation using the Book Accommodation link on the Business Mission Hotel Booking page in the Member Area of the website. The deadline for booking of your accommodation is 15 September 2017. After the deadline, you may not be able to secure a guaranteed room at the mission hotel. 2.1.6.1. Room Rates The room rate at Marina Mandarin Singapore for a Deluxe Room (Single Occupancy) inclusive of breakfast and internet is SGD 318 (~ 200) per night (inclusive of tax and service charge). 2.2. Philippines Business Mission 2.2.1. Travelling to Manila, Philippines You or your company should arrange your flight and pay for your tickets. The cost of the flight tickets should be paid by you or your company and it will not be reimbursed. Flights to Manila will arrive at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL). 2.2.2. Travelling to Mission Hotel (Shangri-la at the Fort, Manila) Shangri-la at the Fort, Manila is a mixed-use development in the heart of Bonifacio Global City (BGC), an emerging contemporary lifestyle district at the centre of Metro Manila. The most convenient way to get to the mission hotel is by car the local ride hailing service Grab is recommended. There is a manned booth along the pick-up/drop-off area just outside the airport. The estimated fare using Grab is PHP 500 (~EUR 9). Address: 30th Street Corner 5th Avenue Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines 2.2.3. Philippines Visa Entry Requirements Nationals from countries listed on the following webpage who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports are valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay: https://consular.dfa.gov.ph/visainformation 2.2.4. Arrival Date You should arrive at the designated mission hotel on Wednesday night, 25 October 2017 or early Thursday morning 26 October 2017 before the briefing session. 2.2.5. Departure Date The mandatory debriefing session after the exhibition will end at 17:00 on Friday, 27 October. You will need to check out on 27 October 2017 morning before heading to the exhibition venue. If you are taking a night flight out of Manila on 27 October, please ensure that you have sufficient time to travel to the airport (giving consideration to Friday evening peak hour Manila traffic) after attending the mandatory debriefing session. Rooms for 27 October are limited and subject to availability as the mission ends in the afternoon. If you wish to stay the night and fly out the next day on 28 October, please book early. 2.2.6. Booking your Accommodation Manila To be eligible for the EU accommodation co-financing, you must book your accommodation using the Book Accommodation link on the Business Mission Hotel Booking page in the Member Area of the website. The deadline for booking of your accommodation is 15 September 2017. After the deadline, you may not be able secure a guaranteed room at the mission hotel. 2.2.6.1. Room Rates The room rate at Shangri-la at the Fort, Manila for a Deluxe Room (Single Occupancy) inclusive of breakfast and internet is PHP 11500 (~ 195) per night (inclusive of tax and service charge). 2.3. Accommodation Co-financing Each company is entitled to the EU Accommodation co-financing of up to 1000 for up to 6 nights stay during the entire Mission week. The full cost of any other charges you may incur, such as minibar, etc., and additional rooms will not be reimbursed. Please note that you have to pay for the accommodation first and reimbursement will be made within 4 working weeks after the business mission. It is important to note that upon booking and confirmation of the hotel accommodation, no cancellation will be allowed. To be eligible for accommodation co-financing, you must: Stay at the designated mission hotels (Marina Mandarin Singapore & Shangri-la at the Fort, Manila) Book your room accommodation using the Book Accommodation link that can be found on the Business Mission Hotel Booking page in the Member Area Attend all mandatory mission week events Submit the Accommodation Reimbursement Form (download from the Member Area) and scanned original receipts within a week from the last date of the mission. 3. Logistics 3.1. Customised Services Your company may avail of any of the optional customised services on offer for your business mission. The EU will co-finance 80% of the total cost of customised services that you order, capped at 1000 per company. Companies may of course, order services exceeding the capped amount. As an example, if you order 1000 worth of customised services, you will be reimbursed 800. If you order 2000 worth of services, you will be reimbursed the maximum amount of 1000. The Customised Services Guidebook contains the full list of customised services, including details on the order and delivery process. This can be downloaded in the Member Area of the website along with the order form and reimbursement template. The deadline for submitting the Order Form is Friday, 15 September 2017. 3.2. 3.3. Shipping 3.3.1. Important Guidelines The exhibition space allocated to each company in Singapore is 9sqm. In Manila you will be provided a table top. As such, please do not bring large or excessively heavy items for exhibiting due to the space limitations. Due to the tight timeline of the mission programme, it will be impossible to freight any items from Singapore to Manila, Philippines. If you wish to display the same exhibit(s) in both countries, please freight two samples to each respective country: one to Singapore and one to Manila.
