The MoU was signed by Dr GVK Reddy, our Founder Chairman & Managing Director and Prof. Russel Gruen, Director NTRI in the presence of Mr. Tony Abbot, the Hon ble Prime Minister of Australia during his visit to India. GVK EMRI and NTRI would collaborate on developing better trauma care models and will bring unparalleled opportunities to develop regional trauma systems that would provide injured people with lifesaving care at the roadside, rapid transport and timely and effective treatment.

GVK Hancock advances Galilee Basin Rail line development GVK Hancock has commenced a Material Change of Use application for the approximate 310 kilometres of its rail corridor in the initial phase. The Material Change of Use (MCU) application is the next step to finalise planning for this significant rail infrastructure development and it follows on from the grant by State environmental approval which it received in May 2012, Federal environmental approval in August 2012 and of Galilee Basin State Development Area in June 2014. Tokisud Coal Project starts mine blasting Tokisud Coal Project crossed a major milestone when it started the box cut, initial mine blasting activities. Rock blasting is the controlled use of explosives to excavate, break down or remove rock to reach coal. Overburden was removed during surface mining and will be used to restore the ecological balance at mine site through plantation activity. AP1-GVK Bali opens the New Domestic Terminal AP1-GVK Bali crossed a major milestone with the opening of the New Domestic Terminal I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. As part of the welcoming ceremony, the first six lucky passengers to depart on the first flight were gifted a Kain Rangrang (balinese style shawl) by the board of directors of PT Angkasa Pura 1 (Persero).The other passengers also had a gala time by participating in numerous fun filled activities like face painting, photo booth, dart game etc. Two of the passengers also expressed the joy of missing their flights the night before and then experience the exciting part of the terminal opening. The carnival like atmosphere at the terminal delighted all the passengers, especially children. GVK MIAL launches new Export Unitization Zone GVK Mumbai International Airport Private Limited (MIAL) has launched its new Export Unitization Zone at GVK CSIA to facilitate the airlines and expedite export cargo processing post screening. This is part of the on-going infrastructure development at GVK CSIA and will enhance the capacity of export handling. The facility was inaugurated by Commissioner of Customs, Roopam Kapoor. GVK EMRI Singns an MOU with HP Govt for 102 Ambulance GVK EMRI has signed an MOU with HP Govt for 102 Ambulance to provide free drop-back service to women and infants under Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK). The MoU was signed between Mr K Krishnam Raju, Director of GVK EMRI and Mr Hans Raj Sharma, Director National Health Mission in the presence of Mr Kaul Singh Thakur, Health and Family Welfare Minister.
