SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS H&I: We had 6 areas in attendance: Rock Creek, Dulles, Central Md, Montgomery & Tri-County. We welcomes 2 new chairs from Chuck H from Central Md & Charisse N from Tri-County. One issue all the areas seems to have is the daunting process of getting into jails & all other correctional facilities. Woods from the Dulles area stated that they use a correctional co-coordinator who gathers all the paperwork & maintains a relationship with the point of contact. The committee also stepped up to assist EOTR in any way possible with their struggles re: having a standard policy& roster. The committee also voted to increase our budget in order to possibly help areas that may be struggling with literature & other financial responsibilities (ie: learning days0. Gloria M was voted in as V-Chair and is here today to be voted in by this body.
