FACILITY AND AREA INFORMATION Directions to the Facility: Take Route 22 East and exit at the 4 th Street exit in Easton. (This is the last exit in PA; beyond this exit, you enter New Jersey.) Bear left off the exit ramp on to Bushkill Street. Follow Bushkill Street passing through a traffic intersection proceeding straight. The road will bend hard right and become Larry Holmes Drive. Proceed approximately 2 block; the river will be on the left and the county parking lot (macadam and enclosed by a chain link fence) will be on the right with the entrance at the far end.) Enter the parking lot and park where available. From Pocono s: Take Route 33 South to Route 22 East; follow directions above From I-78: Use Easton Exit (#75; last exit in PA). Turn left off exit ramp on to Morgan Hill Road. Follow past the Turkey Hill Market to stop sign. At stop sign, bear right onto Philadelphia Road and follow to next traffic light (5 point intersection). Bear left, keeping on the main road which becomes St. John St. Follow down hill, staying in right lane to traffic light at train trestle. Remain in right lane to next traffic light, turning right on to Larry Holmes Drive. (McDonald s will be on the left.) Follow to traffic light at bridge. Proceed thru this traffic light and immediately look for county parking lot entrance on left (macadam and enclosed by a chain link fence); park where available. From Turnpike: (Northeast Extension Route 476): Exit Northeast Extension at Lehigh Valley exit; follow directions from Route 22 East above. Park inside the chain linked fence. Parking at the front of the building is only permitted with special permission from the county. Training Program Contact: The contact person for Northampton County Children and Youth is Joshua Foose, Training Delivery Specialist. He can be reached at 1-877-CWP-PITT (297-7488). This is a toll free number that has been set up for use by the trainers. A call should be placed to the Training Program prior to 9:00 a.m. on the day of the training to verify the status of the training room and materials on the first day of training. 7

TRAINING ROOM INFORMATION Training Room Location: Receptionist arrives at 8:00 Building Closes at 6:00 Look for a 2-story brick elevator tower and enter Take Elevator to building level 1 Cross enclosed crosswalk to another set of elevators Take elevators to 2 nd floor Exit elevator to right, thru doorway and conference room is immediately ahead (room 227) Restroom Location: Restrooms are located to the left of the training room. o For the women s restroom, it is located to the left of the vending machine o For the men s restroom, turn left out of the training room, turn right before the stairwell. Restroom is the first room on the right. Smoking Information: Smoking is not permitted in the building. The smoking area is located at the lower level of the building at a designated smoking area. Please follow these directions for the smoking location: 1. If in training room, turn left out of training room. 2. take elevator to lower level 3. turn right, down the hallway 4. at the end of the hallway, take left exit door a. Training Equipment Availability and Location: You will find a TV, VCR, and DVD, an ELMO Machine which is the overhead projector and LCD Projector. Also 2 easels with pads are located at the front of the training room for your use. If needed, the county may supply a laptop, but prior notification is required. Training Supplies Availability and Location: The training supplies are located at the right of the vending machines. If any supplies are needed, please see Patricia Himmelwright or the receptionist. Office Equipment Availability and Location: A copier as well as a fax machine is available if needed. Please see Patricia Himmelwright or the receptionist for use of the equipment. CLOSING THE TRAINING Checking the Room: Please ensure the following is completed before leaving the room: Tables are clear of paper and trash. Equipment is put away in the proper place use by the next trainer. Supplies are returned to the proper place. Lights are turned off. Training equipment is taken off the walls. Leave equipment in room. Do not have to lock doors. Returning the Building Keys: This is not applicable to this location. Trash Disposal: Trash will be taken care of daily by Northampton County custodians. Cleaning Services Available: The building custodians will clean the room each evening. If you are holding a two-day training, please leave a note on the door if you choose to not have the room cleaned prior to the second day. Extra Handouts: Extra handouts may be saved for another training your may be scheduled to train, or you may throw them away in the trash receptacles provided in the training room. Reporting Concerns or Broken Equipment: Trainers are responsible for calling Joshua Foose, Training Delivery Specialist, at 1-877-CWP-PITT (1-877-297-7488) on the last day of the training to communicate the status of the training, i.e. issues with equipment, trainees, location problems, and how the overall training went. 12
