Once units are checked in, they will be assigned a primitive campsite. Each campsite has a gravel parking area. Units are allowed one truck/trailer combo or two vehicles per campsite. Parking on the grass or main road is not permitted. An overflow parking area is available near the campground s gatehouse. MEALS All meals will be provided by the units themselves and are to be prepared and consumed within the unit s campsite. The Park will begin cutting dead trees in the campground area this fall, and they anticipate some of this wood being available for units to use. Some cutting and/or splitting may be necessary. Units will need to transport the firewood from the Park s storage area, located immediately south of the camp store (near the old saddle barn) to their campsite. TRASH DISPOSAL Dumpsters will be available near the campground s gatehouse for disposal of bagged trash. RESTROOMS Vault toilet restrooms will be available in the Primitive Camping Area and the Youth Tent Area. The restrooms located in the main campground area south of the Primitive Camping Area are not to be used during the Camporee, as we are not paying for this privilege. Units are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the Grissom Memorial, and Scouts must be appropriately supervised during their visit.
