To assemble: Step 1 Use two people to grasp the Frame in the middle of one of the sides. Or preferably have four people grasp the legs at the corners. Be sure that your fingers are away from pivoting and sliding parts. Lift the Frame and walk backward enough that you can still reach the center of the Frame. Step 2 Place the Canopy over the Frame and align the center and the corners. Fit the center hole of the Canopy over the short tube at the center of the Frame (see the close-up drawing in the next step). Step 3 Place the Cap (E) over the Canopy and the Frame. Turn the Cap to secure. Step 4 Connect the plug on the bottom of the Solar Panel (J) to the plug in the short tube of the Frame. Wire with connector Turn to tighten Place the Solar Panel over the Cap and turn clockwise until it locks. Step 5 Continue opening the Frame as instructed in Step 1. Slide the bracket until the upper pin clicks into the hole. Be sure that your hands are clear of pivoting and sliding parts. Step 6 Loosen the two wing nuts at the corners of the Frame and insert the Brace (D) behind the wing nuts. Hand tighten the wing nuts. Step 7 At each corner, place your foot on the plate at the bottom of the leg, and lift the upper section of the leg. Pull the lower leg pin and slide the legs to the hole at the desired height. lower leg pin Step 8 Find the hook and loop strips at the corners and the middle of the sides. Secure them to the Frame. Step 9 Warning: Wind could blow the unit through the air and cause injury to people and damage to property. Secure the Gazebo to the ground if possible. Push the Stakes (C) through the holes in the plates and into the ground. Step 10 Notice the wire with connector hanging from the post in the center of the Frame. Insert the Light (H) over the post and turn the Light to lock it in place. Step 11 Notice the battery box on one of the arms of the Frame. Slide the cover and insert two AA rechargeable batteries. It will need to be replaced in 1-2 years, depending on usage. Replace with the same or equivalent rechargeable battery type. Close the battery cover. Keep batteries away from children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Follow your local authority s disposal requirements. To operate: 1. The light is powered by the sun - place it in direct sunlight for 8 hours before use. 2. Press the switch to turn the lights on. Note: The amount of daily sunlight will determine the length of illumination during the night. The Solar Panel has a sensor which turns the unit on when the sun goes down. To close the Gazebo: Step A Pull the lower leg pin of each leg to collapse the legs. Step B Loosen the wing nuts and remove the Braces (D). Step C Disconnect the hook and loop strips at the corners and the middle of the sides of the Frame. Step D Pull the upper leg pin so the bracket can slide downward and the Frame can collapse. Step E You ll need at least one person to help you, as shown, but we recommend three others to help you, so there can be one person at each leg. Lift the Frame and walk toward the center of the Frame.
