Alternatively, the Thames side location provides a convenient and scenic route for river travel. Bankside will be the cultural hub of London in 2012 with River Stages, the International Shakespeare Festival, entertainment, festivals and world class exhibitions on its doorstep. In close proximity to two of the Olympic Live Sites Bankside will be the place to soak up the buzz of the games or watch the Torch relay as it passes along the river.
