Instaation instructions Product Inspections Inspection of a fooring materia must be done before instaation. Materias with visibe defects are not covered under warranties once they are instaed. Our Pure SPC foors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit defect toerance not to exceed 2%. Sub-Foor Preparation Sub-foor must be fat, dry, smooth, eve, free from residues and structuray sound. A eve sope is a foundation that is ess from 5mm over 2 meters or ¼ over 6 feet. Documents must be kept of a test resuts for warranty purposes. Preparing the Room Check that the doors can sti open and cose after Pure SPC fooring is instaed. Radiant Foor Heating Pure SPC can be instaed over a mutipe of in-foor heating systems, provided that instructions from the suppier of the in-foor heating system are foowed. Pure SPC foors can be cast in a concrete foor or in thin ayer of fier on the surface of concrete sub-foor. In addition, they can be instaed under a wood sub-foor or instaed on the surface of the sub-foor as eectrica matting. The temperature of the sub-foor or the heat radiating from eectric heating mats shoud not exceed 84 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degree Cesius). Instaation Guideines Pure SPC fooring must be instaed indoors. Pure SPC fooring shoud not be exposed to temperatures above 140 F (60 C) or beow 32 F (0 C). PURE SPC GENERAL INFORMATION 18
Warranty Pure SPC fooring carries a imited 25 year residentia warranty and a imited 10 year commercia warranty for wear to the finish under proper usage and maintenance conditions. Pure SPC fooring is guaranteed to be 100% waterproof but spis shoud be ceaned in a timey manner to prevent the possibiity of mod or midew growth. The guarantee appies ony to the origina purchaser and proof of purchase is required for a caims. The guarantee is for repacement or refund of the Pure SPC materia ony, not for any abor. Caims for wear must show a minimum dime size area. This guarantee is pro-rated based on the amount of time the Pure SPC foor has been instaed. A percentage woud be repaced depending on the ength of time since the Pure SPC foor was instaed. Defect of goods must be proven by inspection procedures deemed proper by the Manufacturer. Warranty is conditioned upon Manufacturers receipt of notice in writing from the buyer of the aeged defect prior to expiration of the warranty period and evidence that the products were propery instaed by a icensed instaer and not subject to any of the excusions described beow. Excusions Any visibe defects noted after instaation. Consequentia or incidenta damages, such as any oss, expense or damages other than to the fooring itsef that may resut from a defect in the fooring. Improper instaation incuding, but not imited to, instaation by non-icensed individua(s). Improper maintenance or inadequate care, incuding, but not imited to, mod or midew growth as a resut of excessive moisture accumuation. Accidents, abuse, or misuse. Buiding setting or uneven sub-foor. Damages caused by furniture without fet pads or protective covers. Damages caused by sharp objects making contact with the foor. Damage caused by excessive sunight. Damages caused by urine or other bodiy fuids. PURE SPC WARRANTY INFORMATION 19
Maintenance Information Pace natura fiber rugs at entry points to hep trap grit and absorb moisture that may damage the finish. This can protect the foors from dirt or wear. To prevent abrasive dirt and dust from accumuating and scratching the finish, vacuum, sweep or dust mop your foor once a week or more if needed. The vacuum head shoud be a brush or fet attachment. Do not use a vacuum with a beater bar head. We recommend Basic Coatings Squeaky Cean or Bona Hardwood Ceaner for reguar ceaning and removing grease and smudges from your foor. Do not use harsh abrasive ceaners, beach, ammonia or vinegar based ceaners, wax or acryic poishes, or oi soaps. These may du or damage the finish, eaving a greasy fim and making the foor sippery and more difficut to cean. Protect your foor against direct sunight or any intense source of artificia ighting. Over time, intense natura and artificia ight may discoor the foors. Do not ro, or drag heavy objects across your foor. Do not wear shoes having hee taps, spikes, ceats, rocks, grave or sharp objects protruding from the soe. Add fet pads to a furniture and chair egs to prevent damage to the foor. Repace the fet pads when dirty or worn. For extremey heavy objects, use wide, non staining rubber cups. Protective foor coverings for wheeed office furniture shoud be used.
