Pre Summit Workshops 12 September 2017 Ensuring Operational Readiness And Integration Of Critical Airport Equipment And Systems To Prevent System Failures On Opening Day: WORKSHOP A: 12 September 9.00am 12.00pm (include morning teabreak and 1-hour lunch after the workshop) Damien Bolton Head of Operational Readiness (ORAT), Dubai Airports With over 20 years experience in the aviation sector, Damien has successfully managed the entry into service of high corporate value programmes through the ORAT process and methodology. Damien s previous experience include a number of British airports as well as a lead role with the Airport Authority for the Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok. More recently Damien led the Operational Readiness programme for Emirates Airlines move to Terminal 3 & Concourse B and later Concourse A as well as the Terminal 2 expansion and the opening of Dubai s second airport, Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central for passenger operations. Last year Damien successfully led the opening of Concourse D which was Dubai Airports last major expansion creating an overall capacity at the airport of over 100mppa. Establishing Strategic Planning In Order To Mitigate The Risks Involved During Big-Bang Or Phase Transition Airport Transfer: David Ciceo WORKSHOP B: 12 September 1.15pm 4.15pm (include afternoon teabreak David Ciceo is the CEO of Cluj-Napoca International Airport for more than 20 years. During his tenure, He had striven to transform the airport in one of the busiest regional hubs in Romania. Currently, the airport is the second biggest in the country, serving almost 3 million passengers. David graduated in 1991 from the Faculty for Aircraft Engineering, Polytechnic University of Bucharest. He holds a PhD in airport management from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2014), and two MBAsfrom Open University, Milton Keynes, Great Britain (2003) and John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal (2006). In 2009 David obtained the status of International Airport Professional (IAP). Other functions held: President of Romanian Airports Association since 1999; Vice-President of IAP-CoP Board of Directors since 2012; member of ACI Europe Board 2011-2017.

Post Summit Workshops 15 September 2017 Increasing Stakeholder s Training And Familiarisation In The New Airport Facilities To Ensure Effiient Start Of Operations On AOD: Gurmukh Singh Bawa Former GM, Airports Authority India WORKSHOP C: 15 September 9.00am 12.00pm (include morning teabreak and 1-hour lunch after the workshop) Over the past 34 years Mr Gurmukh Singh Bawa had been associated with the Government working in General and Civil Aviation Industry in particular. He had attained experience in the areas of Project Management in Airport Projects which involves ORAT for overall delivery of the Projects. In his official capacity as Staff Officer to Chairman, he had been involved in overseeing the projects from Conception, Development and Execution Process till Inauguration (Operationalisation) in respect of 35 Non-Metro Airport, 23 other airport development projects and two Mega Projects i.e. Chennai and Kolkta Airports were also executed during his stint with Airports Authority of India (AAI). He was also witness to the first and unique handing over of the two Metro Airports (Delhi and Mumbai Airports) to the Private Operators under the PPP. Mr Bawa, an Economist by profession; Post Graduation in Economics, has specialization qualifications in Airport Economics, Forecasting, Commercialization ec from ACI, ICAO, IAMTI etc. He had setup a full-fledged Administration Department in Airport Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) which is a regulatory Organization under the Central Government. As Officer of Special Duty (OSD) he had been reporting directly to the Chairman in AAI and AERA, since 1991 for about 24 years. He had represented India at various platforms including ACI, ICAO etc. Developing Ways To Highlight And Resolve Critical Issues By Conducting Comprehensive Operational Trials On Airport Processes: WORKSHOP D: 15 September 1.15pm 4.15pm (include afternoon teabreak Swapnil Maha Project Management Specialist, Hamad International Airport Swapnil Maha is a dedicated Aviation Professional with close to 20 years of experience in various fields such as Airport Operations, Airport Operational Readiness, Project Management, Operational Planning & Design, Stakeholder Coordination and Aircraft turnaround Operations. Prior to present role, he had worked at in Delhi International Airport under GMR Group. Swapnil s roles has been mainly focused on ORAT Preparations & Trials. However prior to ORAT trials phase he had been extensively working on pre-opening Operational Planning & Post Opening Airport Development needs, with specialties in Airport Master Planning, Operational Planning, Project Planning & Coordination, Operational Readiness Airport Transfer (ORAT), Airline Operations as well as Project Management.
