Thanks to sophisticated technology, the Sundeck kit only requires a few pre-assembled components for fast installation: Sunmodule Plus solar modules, rooftop cover and assembly system, inverter, cables and fastening materials save time during assembly. The drainage sheets act as a rainproof alternative to conventional rooftop covers and are easily attached to the existing substructure without the need for aluminium profiles and roof hooks. Optional verge covers ensure a harmonious transition from the solar power system to the rooftop cover. Special connection plates also allow mounting on tiled and slated roofs. SUITABLE FOR HIGH LOADS: THE SUNDECK 500 The Sundeck 500 is designed to withstand extreme snow loads. This Sundeck model features specially developed support profiles that make it suitable for combined loads of up to.5 kn/m and enables solar power generation in regions with extreme climate conditions.
3 1 4 5 JUST A FEW STEPS TO THE SUNDECK The Sundeck is an in-roof system. This means that the drainage plates replace the standard rooftop cover with tiles or slates. The plates are rainproof and, together with the solar modules mounted onto them, form the outermost layer of the roof. Tiles are mounted only around the solar power system on the roof. 1 MOUNTING THE LOWER CONNECTION PLATES Once aligned, the plates are fastened in place using pre-assembled adhesive clips. 3 ADJUSTING THE LOWER CONNECTION PLATES The plates are formed and bonded to the roof tiles through aluminium skirting. The adhesive bond is already present on the plates. 4 MOUNTING THE DRAINAGE PLATES The drainage plates are connected in a modular fashion. They form both the future rain-proof roof covering and the mounting frame for the modules. The special design in the overlapping areas ensures reliable protection against rain and facilitates installation thanks to the defined grid spacing. 5 FASTENING THE DRAINAGE PLATES Self-tapping screws ensure quick installation with no pre-drilling required. Greater safety is achieved through special sealing calottes and sealing discs. 6 INSERTING THE POTENTIAL EQUALISATION SCREW The screw is only inserted once per row, connecting the drainage plates horizontally.
6 9 7 10 7 INSERTING THE LOWER MODULE CLAMPING This is achieved using a pre-assembled component with an integrated slot nut that fastens in place with a simple 90 rotation. The long slot guarantees maximum flexibility, even on roofs with a slightly uneven surface, while the overlap of the plates protects against rain. 10 FINISHED SUNDECK SOLAR POWER SYSTEM When the special Sunmodule Plus mono black modules are used, the Sundeck blends with the rooftop cover in an elegant way. 9 FASTENING THE MODULES The modules are attached to the drainage sheets via clamping screws. Integrated guide points for proper module alignment ensure an optimal overall appearance. The tiles are connected to the generator array through lateral connection plates.
