Significant activity by carrier follows: Airline American + US Airways JetBlue Southwest + AirTran Comments 9.3% decrease in passenger activity Increased service to Boston in March 214 and Hartford, Los Angeles, and St. Louis in June 214 Resumed service to Bermuda, Martha s Vineyard, and Nantucket in June 214 Reduced service to Buffalo, Norfolk, and Pittsburgh in January 214; Albany, Charleston (WV), Des Moines, Manchester (NH), Memphis, Nashville, and Raleigh in June 214; and Burlington and Detroit in July 214 In accordance with the planned route divestitures as a result of the merger, service to Augusta (GA), Fayetteville, Jacksonville (NC), Little Rock, Omaha, and San Diego was discontinued in June 214; and Long Island (NY), Minneapolis and Tallahassee in July 214. Service was reduced to Fort Myers, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola and Wilmington (NC) in June 214; and Savannah and Myrtle Beach in July 214 3.5% increase in passenger activity New service to Charleston (SC) and Hartford in June 214 Increased service to Tampa in July 214 65.3% increase in passenger activity New service to Kansas City in March 214, Chicago-Midway, Nashville and New Orleans in August 214 Discontinued service to Orlando in September 213 passenger traffic declined 1.9% in August as American + US Airways reduced service to Bermuda. The combined American + US Airways, including its regional affiliates, had the largest commercial passenger market share with 54.4%, a decrease compared to 59.9% in August 213. 1

Washington Dulles Airport Passenger Activity commercial passenger activity declined 5.4% in August 214. Significant activity by carrier follows: Airline United Delta Comments 5.4% decrease in passenger activity Discontinued service to Salt Lake City in December 213, Albuquerque in April 214, Ft. Lauderdale in May 214, and Binghamton in June 214 Added Saint Thomas (VI) in November 213 and Clarksburg in June 214 as new destinations 12.4% decline in passenger activity Discontinued service to New York La Guardia in January 214 Reduced service to Atlanta in September 213 and Minneapolis in January 214 Passenger Activity August 214 international commercial passenger traffic increased 5.4%. Significant activity by carrier follows: Airline Comments United.5% increase in passenger activity Discontinued service to San Salvador in April 214 Reduced service to Kuwait in October 213, and London and Montreal in November 213 Increased service to Cancun, Guatemala City, and San Jose (Costa Rica) in March 214, and Aruba, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, and Vancouver in June 214 Began service to Madrid and Nassau in June 214 Resumed service to Halifax in July 214 Air China New service to Beijing began in June 214 TACA 2.7% increase in passenger activity Increased service to San Salvador in July 214 Austrian 38.9% increase in passenger activity due to aircraft upgauging in July 214 Ethiopian 22.7% increase in passenger activity due to aircraft upgauging in June 214 United Airlines, including its regional affiliates, had the largest commercial passenger market share of 63.5%, a decrease compared to 65.% in August 213. Cargo Activity For the month of August 214, total cargo increased 7.8% at Dulles from a year earlier. cargo increased 1.8% at IAD mainly due to an increase on United (31.3%). FedEx, the largest cargo carrier at DCA, declined 2.% from August 213. cargo increased 11.5% due to increases on United (28.3%), KLM (15.7%) and Qatar (12.2%) in August 214. Baltimore-Washington Airport Current month commercial passenger activity vs. August 213 decreased.5%. BWI passenger activity outpaced activity at Dulles by 43.4k commercial passengers (2.1%) and National by 27.6k passengers (14.9%). Southwest continues to have the largest passenger market share with 7.3%, up from 69.5% in August 213. Cargo activity at BWI totaled 8.8k metric tonnes, a 1.5% decrease from a year earlier. Activity of BWI s largest cargo carrier, FedEx, declined 5.8% from August 213. 2
