Youth Services Summer Outdoor Discovery During the Summer Break Youth Services will be running some extra special Summer Outdoor Discovery Groups. These groups are pre-booked before the start of the Summer Programme. They involve outdoor based activities including woodland play, outdoor art, games, walks, wildlife discovery and bushcraft activities. We will support attendees to achieve their John Muir Award by discovering, exploring, conserving and sharing the environment we find locally. Youth Services support young people to achieve accredited awards including The John Muir Award, The Saltire Award, Duke of Edinburgh s Award, Youth Achievement Award and Hi5 Award amongst others.

For over 10 years, we have run Duke of Edinburgh Award s programmes across Renfrewshire and work with many partners to help young people achieve their bronze, silver or gold awards. We also have Forest School programmes, where young people can learn team work skills in the outdoors and learn about the world around them.

Youth Services supports groups like Renfrewshire Youth Voice, Linwood Youth Voice, Erskine Youth Council, YOYP Ambassadors and more to have their thoughts and opinions valued and heard. Young people can come along, make new friends, try out some new activities they might never have tried before, and chill out in a safe place. As well as our clubs we run special programmes in schools and also around Family Learning, supporting families to celebrate the achievements of young people.
